El peor centro que e conocido e tenido algunos familiares ahí y jamás contestan el teléfono y tienen a todas las personas juntas los locos con los cuerdos y las mujeres con los hombres los que gritan los que amarran y inyectan en fin todos juntos en la misma sala y la persona que solamente está con depresión cómo está mi familiar en estos momentos lo que hacen es alterarlos más e intimidarlos que poca profesionalidad la verdad no se lo recomiendo ni a un perro asta esos animalitos no merecen un buen trato en realidad la peor opinión que pueda tener sobre este lugar

I JUST WANTED TO TAKE A MINUTE AND THANK ALL THE PEOPLE THAT MAKE THIS PROGRAM POSSIBLE. IVE HAD A ROUGH PAST COUPLE MONTHS AND THANKS TO THIS PROGRAM NOW ME AND MY FAMILY ARE BACK ON TRACK FINANCIALLY. MY CASEWORKER LIBBY CRUSE WAS VERY HELPFUL, KIND, AND GOT IS THE HELP WE NEEDED IMEADIATELLY. I WISH THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE LIKE HER IN THE WORLD. THANKS SO MUCH FROM ME AND MY FAMILY.

Ian Webb's review hits the nail right on the head. Awful, awful place. Firstly, I was Baker Acted despite the fact I complied with law enforcement without resistance or offense.

The bathrooms are mildewy and musty. They tried putting a kids' size dressing on me and took way too long to provide proper clothing. They require you ASK them for permission to use the bathroom, or to even have a cup of water! They provide little to do besides childish word searches and coloring books, or whatever shows they feel like playing on the tiny TV. The children from the children's ward won't shut up and you can hear it from across the one hallway. The "doctor" I met with didn't have the courtesy of meeting me in person - Zoom meeting only! I barely understood half of what he said, and he barely bothered to listen to me as a patient and human being.

Oh, and they injected a B52 intramuscular injection (haldol?) into my buttocks - against my will!!! - for stepping out of line. This caused my jaw to go haywire and scared the absolute crap out of me. I thought my jaw was going to break from extreme pressure. I spent every waking moment in this place on edge, and I barely got a wink of sleep even on Seroquel! Even after I left, my mental health and sleep hasn't been the same. I can only imagine what they will charge me for such an AMAZING experience.

TL;DR: This place is an absolute cesspool of a prison that NEEDS to be shut down. Eleos needs to be held accountable for the abhorrent "care" they give mentally and emotionally vulnerable people at PEHMS.

P.S. They make people sleep in the main area in "boats" despite having more than enough beds for everyone, AND they put the adults in the child's ward (and vice versa).

Some great techs but some should be ashamed. Wonderful nurses but avoid this place at all cost!!!! I was released and they drove me to the next spot for my issue with Bi Polar and they also drove three other people only to be told there wasn't room for us so they left us STRANDED in a not great area of St. Pete. Everyone just started walking, weak from medications and a hospital stay. Shame on this place. What they did was awful. The discharge person who did that was named Linda. She should be fired. She cares little about anything other than her paycheck and I'm grateful I could make other plans after being dumped. Others with me did not have a plan. I wonder how she sleeps at night

My casework Amber went above and beyond to ensure I felt supported, treating me with dignity and respect throughout the process. She listened attentively to my situation, providing not just information but also emotional reassurance that I was not alone in my struggles. PEMHS timely assistance and practical resources helped alleviate some of the burdens I was facing, allowing me to regain my footing. The genuine care they showed made a significant impact on my journey, reminding me of the importance of community and support in times of need. The tech staff are the best. Very caring and decent ppl. The psych doc on zoom is completely insane. Overdosed me. I was put there for a simple email not threatening self or anyone. One email. Kept me for 6 days as punishment! 100 milligrams of seroquel nearly killed me.They will be sued

I would like to thank Yamalee for all her help and support. So many situations have happened within the last two months which caused me to fall so far behind. I was told about this source of help through a friend and It was the best decision to call. Yamalee answered all my questions and out her all in to help me. My counselor Ms. Rivera excelled in kindness, professionalism and understanding during my time of hardship. The process were handled fair, not at all complicated and most important in a timely fashion. To bring awareness of services provided in my community additional places of resources were provided to me that offered help. My family and I are able to keep a safe place to live all thanks to Ms. Rivera, her team and the sponsors I am very Thankful.
