Eons above the rest! By leaps and bounds. Hands down, the best health dept I've been to in 10 states and 23 counties, in every category across the board. They're super clean, professional building, rooms, offices, waiting areas. They're fast, friendly, professional, decent, white collar, well dressed staff. Not at all white trash or hood rat. No different than a regular doctor visit. And the doctors are intelligent, knowledgeable, courteous.
Every staff member smiles and is friendly and helpful.
You truly forget you're in a health department. No trashy, nasty, tattooed, rude, apathetic receptionists that scowl and won't even make eye contact and look like they want to be anywhere but there, talking to you.
No-one ignores you or makes sarcastic, nasty remarks. Or threatens you.
You'll never dread your scheduled visit, or be treated like a pos.
I can't say enough positive about this gem of a health dept, that's not even in the same hemisphere as every other hell-hole government, county jail-like atmosphere health dept in the U.S.

This is our 3rd time here in past 2 months. Everyone here has been so kind and helpful! Plan to wait a little because immunizations take time, prep, and computer entries. Very good staff. We love the nurse who gives the immunizations!

For international travel Mrs Andrea is exceptional! She is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond what is required. She’s empathetic, patient and enjoyes what she does which makes all the difference. If you’re traveling outside the country come see Andrea for any vaccines. You will not be disappointed. Calling ahead will guarantee you an appointment with her.

Absolutely loved their service. There are still great people out there who will go above and beyond to help you and treat you with so much kindness and Miss Sabrina reinford is the prime example of that. Thanks a lot to the whole team aswell , they are really helpful.

I have visited this, as well as, several other health dept offices in our county. I must say, this office is the best, most efficient and accommodating of them all. I've frequented their services from WIC, primary care, immunizations- and also records and vital statistics offices. Other than one visit where I waited for over an hour {which was very uncommon in my experience} I have never had a bad experience. Usually, all the staff are kind and helpful. Wait times fluctuate, so I try to make an appt {when available} or go in at slower periods. The waiting, sitting, check in desks and exam areas are almost always very clean and tidy. {Unlike other offices I have seen}
So if you find yourself needing to visit one of our county's health departments- I strongly urge you to visit THIS location!

Very rude secretaries at the vital of statistics. Called ahead of time to see about picking up a birth certificate. On the phone was told they go by appointments but I could wait and get done in between. When I got here the lady said appointments only after I told her what the other lady said on the phone she THEN said okay I could wait but it could potentially be over an hour as they see appointments FIRST and she had some who were “running late and not yet arrived” I said okay no problem. Again she said reiterated that I would have to wait again I said no problem as I need it for insurance purposes I really don’t have a choice to which she replied “you have a choice you JUST DONT WANT IT” I said I’m sorry is really that much of a problem for me to wait? She shoved the clip board through window and said fill this out. I am trying to see her name but she wears her name badge on her belt loop (which is very inappropriate considering this is a government facility we should be able to identify employees easily) probably for this exact reason she doesn’t wear hers in a visible manner. I said I had no problem waiting. I’m a nurse and work long hours and today is the only day I have. How hard is it to print a piece of paper. Also after me another person walked in who she told he couldn’t wait and had to make an appointment.

I almost never feel the need to go out of my way to give a negative review anywhere. This was the WORST customer service experience I have ever had in a medical establishment. I spent an hour waiting for school immunizations for my son.... during that time I came into contact with five staff members....only two of them displayed anything remotely close to human compassion. The "manager" is a joke...the guy pulled me aside to let me know I would not be helped...at 4:30.... because no one would be available...the nurse had to go. He then proceeded to almost shame me for bringing my child in on a Friday at 3:30...there was almost no one there. I watched him make small talk with multiple members of his staff and overheard them discussing their equipment failing while attempting to do blood tests for other patients that day. AMAZING. After this experience I have more faith in science fiction than I do in the Florida Health Department. If you want to be treated like you truly don't matter by people who seem really miserable and less than capable...go warm a seat up in their waiting room. What a poor example of practicing medicine and #floridataxdollars being wasted by terrible management.

the dentist at this location is amazing for children , all of the staff made my 4 year old very comfortable for her first dentist appointment. They are all super friendly and makes a difference when the staff want to be there ❤ i will NEVER go to another location
