Susan's office prescribed me what is considered the child's dose for Bactrim for two straight months (I'm an adult). Then changed the prescription to the proper strength without telling me. I only found out because the pharmacist was confused, and then I called Susan's office and they said the previous prescription was an error. Not only was I prescribed the wrong dosage for two months in a row, but they did not even inform me until I called. Additionally, her office did not inform me that a medicine related to Tindamax (tinidazole) is carcinogenic when prescribing Tindamax for dosage over a long period of time.

I decided to stop treatment after taking antibiotics for about four months because I was getting concerned with the length of treatment and began to experience negative side effects. A conventional licensed (infectious disease) physician told me recently I am over Lyme and that some practitioners will often keep people on treatments for much longer than necessary.

There are two different trains of thought when it comes to Lyme treatment, so just be cautious when reaching outside of conventional medicine with practices like Susan's. Personally, I wish I had just seen my primary care doctor and then if necessary a conventional infectious disease specialist, even though the waitlist was long, which ultimately I eventually did anyway after months of treatment at Susan's office. While I cannot say with surety that Susan's treatments were misguided or totally unhelpful, and it seems other people might have had positive experiences with her practice, I suspect I would have been better off to stick to conventional medicine which is arguably based in much sounder science.

Also make sure to check for oral thrush (white tongue) if you are on antibiotics for awhile. I had no idea it was happening until recently after four months of treatment and didn't get any warning about it.

Ive been going back and forth about what to say for months, because I'm honestly still speechless but I wish to write a fair and honest review after the last two years of Lyme treatment for my dad. I unfortunately lost my dad due to this terrible disease in November. Susan was the only person who came anywhere close to understanding what he was going through. She confirmed my ongoing suspicions of Lyme disease, when all other doctors kept ruling it out and completely ignoring it. But unfortunately, she still fell short on numerous occasions. The push for more and more antibiotics is not okay. It inevitably destroyed my dad's life. I called Susan crying for another solution besides antibiotics, and my cries constantly went unheard. She didn't even want to take my phone calls, only my mom's and I was my dad's biggest advocate. I needed more involvement . I think Susan needs other doctors working alongside her, especially a natropathic doctor. The focus on detox, mold testing, heavy metal testing, it's nearly non-existent at the Lyme center and it is a huge piece to the puzzle when it comes to Lyme disease. The iver*mectin my dad was on that I kept pushing for, was the only thing keeping him well and it was stopped by a multitude of doctors who have no idea how safe this drug is. A tick (multi-herbal) support supplement I purchased, she didn't want to try it because she only wanted to make one change at a time, but multiple people out there are getting well with this supplement. Methylene blue, another thing that is immensely helping people... She said we would try it down the line. Down the line never came. With how much it costs my family to receive special care for my dad, I absolutely know that more could have been done for him. I commend you for trying, but sending us to Brigham and women's hospital at the end of his life was the absolute worst thing we could have ever done for him. I watched those doctors starve my dad for 5 days straight and then give him a biopsy that caused aspirational pneumonia and then we lost him. We need our Lyme specialists more than anything right now, even "the best doctors in the country" are falling very short. If Susan offered me a job tomorrow, I would take it in a heartbeat because that's how strongly I wish to help the Lyme community after everything my dad has been through. Lyme patients need more help. Please, I am begging you, please do whatever you can to improve these things for future patients.🙏🙏🙏🙏 Thank you for giving it your best, but I truly think we could have done better.

Sue Neuber saved our lives. I truly don't think I would be here if it wasn't for her treatment and care. Both of my kids also have chronic Lyme and she has treated us for years and gotten us all well again. We had been to several doctors and until Sue, no one was able to figure out what was wrong with us. She is the most caring, kind and intelligent professional. She listens and knows lyme and co infections. Don't lose hope, try and get in to see her. Help is on the way!

My son was misdiagnosed for Lyme Dr Susan did plenty of blood tests and when asked she said it's Lyme but Lyme came negative and when asked she said it's co.infections and this happened in our second appointment. We had spent around 700$ for the treatment which is not related to lyme. It's good that we got the right treatment from another doctor and saved my son. So the dollars what we spent is totally waste 😭 .please don't go to her blindly and waste your money and time. Right diagnosis and treating the disease right is more important, which Dr Susan is lacking.
I had to review it because my son didn't get right treatment after spending so much money which is hurting.

Susan is the only medical professional that I have seen over the past 23 years that knew immediately what conditions that I had. I have been to so so many doctors, np's, physical therapists, specialists, and have had so many treatments that all were unsuccessful. I have been in treatment for a year and a half with her and am finally having some slow but steady improvements. I fully recommend her medical care.

"Should be"
Stay away from this place. Get a test from a Doctor that is in your covered insurance network. I was billed for two tests, one that I did not sign for and was not told about. Suprise! 1500 dollar bill out of nowhere, on top of the 700 dollar test and the 300 per visit. Susan Neuber never told me that the tests were not covered by my insurance. When at the first visit, I asked her if the tests were covered. She replied "should be."

I have been getting treatment here for about 5 years off and on. The treatment protocols can be helpful but are not always explained or consistent. Lots of blood work is done at every visit but results are never shared other than general statements about things looking ok or if a number has changed. The visits are expensive as they do not accept anyone's medical insurance you must submit that paperwork yourself. They do disclose this right up front. My major issue is scheduling of appointments. They require patients to come 15 mins prior to the scheduled time, but I have never been seen on time. Today I chose the very first appointment so that I could finally be on time. It's now 20 minutes past my appointment time and NP has just arrived. This place has pluses but on time isn't one of them. Finally called in 25 minutes late.
