AVOID THIS PLACE ‼️‼️‼️ The unprofessionalism Is beyond me starting with Receptionist not calling me back within 48 hours like she said they’ll do. I had literally called back one week afterwards., And her response was oh yeah, I did get an answer back sorry…. Her response was just because you haven’t had a primary over 10 years, The doctor doesn’t want to see you. Excuseeeee me Stay stay, don’t see patients who have not been seen my PCP in over 10 years. I used to come here when I was being seen for PCP and since I have not needed to in the last 10 years, this is the response I get… Absolute nonsense denying care is Absurd..

I have been a patient of this practice (more like a customer) since 2014 and my last appointment was two weeks ago for a renewal of my medical cannabis card. Specifically, I did telehealth. Avoid them.

The practice asked me to pay prior to the appointment which would have been fine but, after getting renewed, the office mispelled my last name on my application. Yikes.

Considering it was three letters off, I barely noticed it myself but uh good thing I did because while I was understanding of the human error at the time; I still think I should have been monetarily compensated solely because I literally did their job for them.

Nice staff objectively but, genuinely unprofessional and likewise there are many, many cannabis doctors in CT now and this has never happened to me in a decade of having a medical card from this practice (I've done telehealth one other time). Go elsewhere because next year, I definitely will. Not worth the anxiety.

Edit responding to business response (more people should do this), 12/2023:
1. I was not misstating being *asked* to be charged prior to an appointment. They asked me over the phone, I said 'no that is sketchy, we'll do billing after.' never said I actually paid before the appointment so uh, reread my review champs.
2. I only stayed with the practice because it is cheaper no matter where you go, ie: first time patient is always more expensive. Customer service always kinda sucked.
3. Considering how long I was with the practice, it is definitely fair for me to 'extrapolate' (their diction not mine) my experience to the practice in general. There's a saying about one bad egg.

Used to go here for my MMP card for 4 years and smooth sailing every time all the way through for the most part. I don’t know why all the complaints because every doctors office has rude staff every now and then. I also had a mishap with my address at one point and got it fixed asap through my dispensary. That is why I’m giving them 4/5 stars. Only complaint I have is the renewal fee increases🤨

I'm not sure why this medical practice is getting such bad feedback. I was there about a week ago and they were Great! Very professional and compassionate. Doctor Corey is a great doctor and the PA was also good. She was very nice to me and made me feel comfortable. Ignore all those other reviews and see for yourself, trust me you won't regret it. They are caring and very informative when explaining things.

I see Dr. Corey once a year for my mm card. He's always been very good! He asks how I am, physically and if it's helping. He spends quality time listening to me. The staff has always been nothing less than pleasant. They even bought the entire waiting room coffee once. See for yourself. Don't judge on bad reviews!

Last visit was scheduled on a day my NP wasn't even in the office. Now, since they say I have not seen them in too long they cancelled my relationship? Tell me I will have to go through whole process just to -renew- the basic emergency inhaler perscription for my asthma. Don't bother, they are about medical MJ and little else. Unwilling to work with me over the most basic meds out there as I have had asthma for 20+ years and never had a hard time getting the emergency inhaler before.

This is regarding my experience applying for my medical card renewal. There are updates below as to how this keeps getting worse and worse and how I am not medicineless thanks to this place.

I could give less than 1 * I would. I arrived early and was the third to get there. My appointment is at the beginning of their time seeing patients so no one was ahead of me. I paid my appointment fee and was brought to room pretty quick. I, however, waited for 45 minutes and heard the people AFTER ME being taken care of in the room next door. I had places to be and didn't expect to be waiting an hour and have people after me get to go before me to leave. The only reason they came in my room aftrr 45 minutes was my mom called them as she was my ride ask to ask what was taking so long. They literally forgot about me. The doctor never apologized at all. She said that I could use the same photo for my application as last time and that I should keep an eye out for their email that night. I waited and waited for their email and realize they never sent my information in. I called to ask why they did not and she said because it's not close enough to the expiration(the doctor knew my expiration date and still said it would be in RIGHT AWAY. She stessed it). It was three weeks before expiration when I got suspicious of no email (my appointment was a month and a half before so there would be plenty of time for my application) and the website itself says it takes over 30 days. I now have an expired card thanks to this office literally not sending my information in. I can't buy any more medication and my application might even be denied because right on it it says you need a newer photo, but as it was I did not have the time to get a new one taken. I'm extremely unsatisfied and word around my dispensary is this is the norm for this place. They even offered to help me find a new doctor because they hear nothing good about here. There are other doctors in the state who will treat their patients with respect. If you have to drive the extra mile it's worth it.

Edit: thanks to their screw up I am still medicineless and it's not okay. I went to an appiappoint a month before I had to. They screwed me over.

EDIT 3/12/2019: THEY SENT OVER MY APPLICATION WITH THE WRONG NAME. How do you even do that? ! Medical care is not a priority here. Not only an app sent over LATE and only sent because I called asking why they hadn't sent it yet but now delayed ebenmoree because they messed up my name. If I could give negative stars I would.

The staff there is very rude and disrespectful at the front. They hanged up my phone sometimes when I didn't finish my statement.

The first visit I had there was regarding physical examination. The doctor did a quick evaluation and asked me to schedule another appointment to do a full physical examination. Howe come? I don't get it. The intention of my first visit a full examination. During the second visit, the doctor did the physical and wrote the scripts to get lab done in QuestLab and the office was asking me to schedule another appointment just to review the lab tests. The lab tests was normal. I am still waiting for them to set up a time for do my colonoscopy screening. It has been several months. I called them several times and left my phone number, nobody called me back with the information. I guess the office will say that you need to schedule another appointment so that we can help you set up your colonoscopy.
