Recently took the Victorian Visions of Death tour on Halloween day at the Latimer House and it was very much worth the visit. The speakers were all in character and had so much knowledge. It felt like we were really part of Victorian mourning. Looking forward to the tours in December!

I took the Lower Cape Fear Historical Society candlelight tour this weekend!!! I highly recommend it - at a church we listened to a harpist, piano player and a duet sing Christmas carols, toured several homes - some old and some new, another church served tea and treats! I moved to Wilmington 6 months ago and this tour was a real treat and way to learn about the city's rich history!! Definitely putting it on my list for 2024 ❤️

Nice tour. One house was 1984, not historic at all and shouldn’t be on any historic registry or tour. Also, the map was not very accurate. The speakers at some locations were very informative but some were a little aggressive and wouldn’t just let you tour without you listening to their whole speech. Overall, it was fun and some nice places. Disappointed that some locations we paid to see weren’t even open. A little deceptive.

We had a terrific tour at the Latimer House. We learned a few things that I will remember for the rest of my life. This is a great tour to bring visitors from out of town.
