Don’t worry about the bad reviews. These people must be awful if they think anyone at Advent Urgent Care is not doing a great job. I’ve been there twice now after moving to the area. Everyone I have encountered has been nothing except super friendly, caring, sincere, supportive and professional. I had a short wait. I was triaged quickly and professionally. I saw the doctor in a relatively short time and he was patient. He wasn’t in a hurry. Dr Cochran was pleasant, knowledgeable and kind. He listened to everything I had to say. Never once spoke over me or acted like he was in a rush. It was a great place to go to get good treatment fast.

called in today to show my concern about possible having something when 1000% known to being exposed to it and they were so nice on the phone and sounded as if i was going to be taken serious. when i get there they tell me they are only going to test me for covid which i know for a fact i don’t have. they tell me they aren’t going to test me for anything i’ve expressed a concern about and tell me they can’t test for it which i know is a lie and if that was the case why i wasn’t told over the phone they couldn’t do anything for me and waist my time coming in would have been great. let alone im 31 weeks pregnant so im very concerned and want to know what i have going on (or if they showed concern it very well could be preeclampsia symptoms) they then go on to question my vaccinations (which i do not do or have) then i check my doctors note on my app and it says i denied their care of helping….they did nothing to help absolutely nothing they only wanted to test for covid… i will NOT return here.

I was called back before estimated time to urgent care. Julie, nurse, was welcoming and efficient checking vitals. Hillary, NP, did an awesome job providing care as well.

Couldn’t tell me what was wrong prescribed me stuff that made it worse and he gave me a Neti pot for a congested nose it’s literally for runny noses. I’ll never be back worst place ever

I was seen promptly and met with friendly, caring and concerned professionals who established quickly what my medical needs were. They talked with me, making sure I completely understood the medical diagnosis and that I knew my care plan and then they directed me to my preferred pharmacy.

All in all, would you use this Urgent Care again? You bet I would! As stated above, their service was friendly and efficient and they were great at delivering their product: medical care and expertise. So there you have it. They get 5 stars from this satisfied patient.

My husband was in an accident (not his fault). He's used this PCP for years now to handle his basic care, but when he's actually in pain and needing to be seen he's told they won't bill his insurance suddenly and he'd have to pay $100 out of pocket just to be seen. Advent is money-centered, not about their patients at all. An office he's trusted to take care of him all this time couldn't care less, and he won't be returning.
