Amazing selection of artifacts and even more amazing tour guide, Mr. Eric is retired from working for the space program for over 30 yrs! He has insane knowledge on the industry and the museum itself. Absolutely ask for the tour, hopefully with him! Analog Sequencer is so iconic too! Don’t miss out fr.

What an awesome place. It had so many cool items in it and there was so much to learn. Kennedy Space Center was not in our budget and quite frankly I’m really happy with that. I mean this place was off the charts for information and the scenery. Gordon was amazing… he knew so much information. I learned so much and didn’t even know I cared that much about space and what not it he made it more interesting than I ever thought possible. The ladies up front were very helpful too and very sweet!

This is a very cool little place made entirely of donations from employees of the Space program. I highly recommend stopping in an exploring. It's a good walk through the entire history of the space program.

What makes the difference at this museum is the staff. They are super friendly and eager to engage you in conversation. The museum is not large but is full of a lot of interesting artifacts from NASA and a lot of things donated by family members or people who worked there. I enjoyed getting a close up look at the old control panels. It’s the perfect place to go on the day of a launch at Canaveral. We did what was suggested on their website of getting a parking space at Space View Park and then walking to the museum and then walking back to the park to watch the launch and it worked perfectly. You are just on the other side of the river and you stay out of all the traffic too. Most people went out on the pier in the park for the launch. The staff in the museum also knew info on the launch. They showed us on a model display on the wall which pad was being used and if a booster was being returned to Canaveral or a barge at sea, and if that could be seen. It’s the perfect compliment for a launch.

If you don’t have time or money for nasa space center, then this is a fun place to go. It was like a tiny tiny version of it and the people there are very knowledgeable about everything. They even had a fun scavenger hunt for kids to do. It was very interesting and took about an hour. Although, I’m sure if you take the time to read everything and do the guided tour, it might be longer. Kids 12 and under are free

Our family had an absolute great time at American Space Museum. The ladies at the front are so nice. They have a gift shop when you walk in and give the kids a scavenger hunt so they can learn and find different items throughout the museum. Our 13 year old son who is a big time NASA and outer space fan enjoyed it the most. Mr. Gordon was absolutely amazing!!! He took the time to explain absolutely everything. He is so incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. If I could give more than a 5 star review, I honestly would. Our children learned so much! Such a nice place to enjoy and an outstanding educational experience and give you some special souvenir to take home! We will be back! 🙂
