Interesting, well preserved adobe. The old Lankershim Reading Room has been moved there as well. The Southern Pacific Railroad shanty is something I have never seen before

The people who ran the place was really Rude. My group called to schedule a visit and accessibility for wheelchair/walkers and they were welcoming. Once there, they told us that my group was too large and we had to go in pairs. Which was fine due to the museum being so small. But, my group felt rejected at first, then someone came with a different attitude to try to explain what should have been explained when I called. They complained over what took 5 minutes to tour. “THANKS! BUT, ALL FREE THINGS IS NOT WORTH IT!” GO BY YOURSELF IF YOU WANT TO VISIT THIS PLACE… OR MAYBE ITS CAUSE I WAS THE ONLY BLACK PERSON IN MY GROUP?

The docents really know a lot about the history of the Adobe, and a lot about the history of the Los Angeles area. I was quite impressed. Thank you Buck for the very interesting and informative tour!

It's an incredible and very rare historic site. Rarely do you get to see the wealth of historical artifacts for the San Fernando valley and have those items be intact. The Adobe itself is beautifully preserved, although some changes had been made to the original structure it still has it's authenticity. Many thanks to the people who maintain this place.

Nice park -slow down around the bend or you'll miss the entrance and getting back is not easy! The park is nice, small but full of history -it is also the HQ for the San Fernando Valley Historical Society. The adobe is very well kept but access is difficult -you can only walk around the premises.
