Went to this office and seen the doctor maybe 3 times and I quit going. There are several doctors in the office so I’m not going to call out any doctor names but the doc was very unprofessional and I knew more about medication then they did and said I lied to them and from the first visit I never told a lie to this doctor and I don’t appreciate being called a lier and most of these kind of doctors take their license to their head and we are just a number. The office in nahunta is a whole lot better.

I have been a patient of Blackshear Family Practice since moving to Waycross over 18 years ago. I cannot stress enough how great they are. The office personnel have always been great about scheduling an appointment for me as quickly as possible when I have needed to be seen unexpectedly, they honestly try their best to accommodate your needs. I have seen many of the medical staff over the years, and I have always been treated very well, but I would like to take this opportunity to point out what a great provider Scott Mathis has been for me. He really listens to my concerns, takes his time to make sure that we understand each other regarding my health plan, never talks down to me, and is very personable. I truly believe he cares about his patients and their health. I would highly recommend Scott and Blackshear Family Practice to anyone needing a new provider.

Everyone in my family (which is 5 of us) sees Katy Perrit the PA. I have been seeing her for almost a year since I liked how she was with my husband, son in law, 2 daughters, and 1 grandson. She's very informative and caring to us. I will continue to see her and refer others to see her!

This is the BEST Dr's office I've ever been to. I trust them so much that my children also are patients! When I'm in the room with my physician I feel like they are focused on me and what's going on. Not about other things going on. My kids love it there also. I never have to wait long and they always can work me or my kids in.

Dr. Donald Waters is the best doctor in South Georgia. I've never met a more knowledgeable, friendly, caring doctor in my life. I was a medic for 20 years before I became disabled. I've met dozens of doctors in my time, but Dr. Don is, by far, the best I've ever met. I'm certainly dreading the day that he retires. Replacing him will be a Herculean task. If you're in need of a new doctor, Dr. Don is your man!

Blackshear Family provides excellent service! I love the feature of being able to book an appointment online. The team always seems to go above and beyond to care for the patients even with holiday schedules and a pandemic they never seize to amaze me with the level of care that they provide! Highly recommend!!

I absolutely love Ms Alice Taylor! She's always made me feel like I'm her only patient for the day. She sits down with and listens to everything I have to say and she always ask about my children. She's like a family friend. And her nurse is wonderful! She goes beyond her job duties to help and is so friendly about.

My Aunt went there last week for the first time, weak dizzy. They did no bloodwork, sent her home and said they would see her in 3weeks. Now waycross hospital has life flighted her to Savannah memorial. Blocked arteries in left and right neck. Not very happy with the care or lack of she received. .
