I was pleasantly surprised by the positive experience I had Atrium Health Union ER in Monroe. After moving here a little over a year ago, I had heard to stay away from this hospital. With it only being a few minutes down the road from my house and feeling the way felt at 14 weeks pregnant, I had to go. I got seen right away, and every interaction with staff was very pleasant. My doctor and nurses were very kind, knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable/taken care of. I left feeling SO much better and would feel confident in any future care I need. Thank you for the excellent service in my time of need!

I was in so much pain… it was time to take it to the ER. I ended up going to the one close to home because I couldn’t endure a further trip. The team at atrium in Monroe was so incredible and caring …it made all the difference. My doctor, my nurse and the girls at the admitting desk… even the security guard asked if he could get me a wheelchair… thank you to Atrium for hiring people that have care and compassion for people in pain.
Doesn’t matter how old I am, when I don’t feel good … I still want my mom to take care of me, this was a close second.

Got turned away when going in to get checked after my primary told me I might be about to have a heart attack all because they said that currently my daughter could not go with me as she was not 12 yrs of age or older so what is a father to do? This emergency room is an absolute joke, 10/10 would not recommend getting seens by any of these incompetents, idc what is going on an individual should not be turned away in cases such as these, absolutely asanine.

This hospital has always been 5min away from me all my life. I have always lived in Monroe, NC all my life.

It's a good hospital when it comes to going for the things I went for. Wen it comes to surgery and other things of tht matter .....I recommend CHARLOTTE. But anything slight ..great hospital.
