This hospital needs help!!!! Ok...my 80 year old mother fell and was taken to this hospital... After a long wait and test performed we were told she only has a fracture to her eye socket... WRONG !!! Her pain in her face was worse today so we took her to Hugh Chatham Hospital in Elkin NC, were more X-rays were taken. I'm so glad employees at High Chatham know how to read X-rays. My mother has several fractures from her eye to the bottom of her face, along with really bad bruising to her arm,ribs, hip.
It's a shame the ER Dr at Wilkes Regional was more concerned about her daily pain treatment than her fall.
It he was more concerned about the patient and less concerned about the medication the patient Primary Dr. perscribes, then he might be a better ER Dr
Sending my mother home without informing her and the family about how bad she was injured it totally unacceptable.
Wilkes Regional Medical Center is not fit to take my dogs to must less my family.

I hate this place anything to do with atrium is garbage I want to file a complaint but no one seems to know who's in charge. But I will find out no one should be treated the way I was I have pictures of the staff sitting together having a gab session doing nothing.

Absolutely would NOT bring a animal here! This place is beyond the worse. Doctors with nasty attitudes and absolutely does NOT CARE A ABOUT patients. Nothing but PATHETIC! GO ELSEWHERE AT ALL COST!

Got to the emergency department and pulled up with my mother that's bad off the people that are supposed to greet you just sat there so I got out and ran to the wheelchairs and only then did they come out to do their job. Can't forget about the top notch security. In a hurry I didn't realize I had a pocket knife. Well into the bin with my keys and everything. They didn't even notice. Oh well I'm not going back to my car after wasting my time trying to get my mom help.

My son needed an X-ray after a fall and they had him in a room in less than 10 minutes. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. The doctor was awesome and they brought the X-ray machine to his room. This made a hard situation much easier to manage. Thank you!

Became very ill while in the area and was transported to the ED. Staff were fast, professional and caring. The ED provider was quick and laid out the plan for admission and treatment. While on the 2nd floor had amazing interactions with the staff who took the time to listen and explain everything. Shout-out to the entire staff for their compassion, thoroughness, and professionalism. Kudos to Dr. Burks for being attentive and an excellent bedside manner.

Went to the ER and I was seen immediately. The entire medical staff were pleasant and professional. I most certainly WILL return if I need emergency medical attention again.
