I live in Paulding County but was referred to this location because they offered the service I needed. The staff was so helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and that all of my needs were met. They also are able to stack services into a single appointment which is helpful since it's quite a drive for me. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of services! I'm continuously impressed by them. Five stars!!

I went to get my immunization. It went pretty good. The staff was very nice and a place was very clean. It didn't take me long at all to be waited on and it didn't take long at all for them to do my shots. When I was done I had a follow-up for me to reschedule for my next shots. I was very pleased with my visit and I will recommend for friends and family to come and visit.

My first impression was very good all way around, with so many there plus line going fast for so many people there really .. not having to make Dr appt is very nice i like that..
Every place was marked out good wher to go wait .. than on through out the door. Some lined up back to sidewalk. Thank you for being so kind and helpful.. caring people also ..blessings to all! Pat

Dennis Gross summed it up best. It's a state government facility. It caters to lower income families, of which there are many in Bartow County. If you do not like the wait times, then fork over the money and go to a regular doctor. If you offer to pay cash, many will charge you less for your visit. OH! Some insight for those of you who think the employees here are rude and arrogant...They think the same of you. Try smiling and being polite when you go in there the next time. You might just be pleasantly surprised.

i've been using this health department since i moved to cartersville. Back in January, i had an appointment and they told me to be there early around 7:30. I got there at 740 worried bc i was running a little late. and saw there was a line outside. i stood out there in the cold with my newborn son and they didn't even open the doors until 8. so why did i stand there freezing? Well anyways the WIC girls at the front desk are so rude and always have an attitude. And their wait times are ridiculous, it's like they schedule everyone at the same time.
