Very informative- learned a ton of Jefferson Davis history - amazing how well the mansion fared even through an 18’ storm surge of Katrina; and the restoration that has helped. Loved the family stories (Jeff was a GREAT story teller). The cemetery, is a reminder of the cost of war. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Also enjoyed the movie; some great history.

This was an awesome tour. Our docent, Rod, is obviously a history buff, and he shined! What a knowledgeable guy! Facts, facts, and more facts; no focus on shaming the long-dead owners over their history. He could answer every question posed and is a true asset to the library and museum.

We went while we was on our honeymoon the tour was awesome and I and my husband learned so much that we have decided we will be taking our son here in afew months. The gentleman that does the tour is awesome and keeps you engaged.

Price of admission for adults $13. Fair price to pay for a few hours to step back in time. The museum was full of great artifacts and information. The house itself was magnificent. The fact that you have this piece of history you can touch, feel, and experience is amazing. Our tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable, you could tell she took pride in telling the story of Beavoir. The property is beautiful. I enjoyed just taken in the scenery. My only advice is if you are visiting in the Summer bring a bottle of water with you. Thank you to everyone involved in keeping Beauvoir alive. GO VISIT! You won’t regret it.

The tour of the house is great! Although the tour guide I had was barely understood by most on the tour because of the heavy accent. It was nice to learn about the history of the house and how it came to be a tourist attraction and survive all the storms.

We have been twice, the 1st time our tour guide was amazing. On the self guided part we felt a lot of energy in the confederate cemetery. Our 2nd time the tour guide was new, she lost her train of thought quite a bit and almost passed out at one point. We felt the energy again in the cemetery but it wasn't as intense. Would love to do a ghost hunt there.
