The museum is small but has a lot of interesting things to explore. It gives an insight in how people used to live in late 19th and 20th century, what their daily routine involved and what courts used to look like.

TONS of local, authentic artifacts and information. You can easily spend 2 hours if you read through everything and take time to look closely at the exhibits. Definitely worth the price of admission at $3 per adult, $2 senior citizens, $1 for students. 12 and under free! Military and family/group are free as well!

I took my kids to Medora in July and camped out at the KOA... What a great place! We went to most of the museums in town and thought that the County Museum was far better than the others... and lower priced. The staff were great and the exhibits very informative. I recommend The Billings County Courthouse Museum if you want a deep rich authentic experience of the areas history.

This review is for the very small but excellent museum located in the old courthouse. I don't know why it does not show separately on the map and appears to be the Billings Co. Auditor.
The museum is located on 2 floors and has a number of interesting and informative displays. Upstairs if the old courthouse with still more information and displays. We paid $3 for entry and have paid far more for places with nowhere close to the information here.
