The Blairsville clinic is the BEST place to go for healthcare in Georgia! The staff is very helpful, informative and friendly. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. A special thanks to Jessica Collins & Melissa Anderson!!! You both totally ROCK!!! This is the very FIRST time my husband has left a doctor's office with a smile on his face! We cannot say enough about the quality of care and service at this location!!!

I would recommend not using this VA. They do little to nothing for you, X-rays and blood work is about it. The receptionist won't answer the phones even if a patient isn't at the window. They are very rood and unpleasant to deal with. The "Doctor" if that's what you want to call him is a joke. He just takes shots in the dark and hopes he's right and doesn't seem to really listen to the patients. If you complain to them about how horrible they are, then they just ignore you. If you ask them for the guidelines they follow, they tell you they can't share that info with you. They will blame the bad service on the Atlanta VA, but they are just as bad on there own. Goto NC or TN, blairesville va needs to be under serious review and restaffed from top to bottom.

They can only keep one primary care provider at any given time and you will be lucky if you can get in within a month. They did not have a primary care provider for months. Walk in's are very much not welcomed and are met with much resistance and attitude. Care used to be good. Now, it is sub par. I needed a follow up from being hospitalized and was told it would be 3 weeks to be seen via appt. Went in to do a walk in and was told that they could only do vitals on me. Then was asked if I could go to the er for said follow up. When I asked to have something put in writing to why I was being turned away, I was told no. Make that make sense.

They are wonderful! It is small, very little wait times, very friendly staff, easy to get in and out, very knowledgeable and genuinely seem to care about my husband and their job. Will never go to downtown Atlanta - Blairsville is the place to go.

Needed blood work done due to being on Warfarin. I'm a Veteran and a Disabled Vet.Went in and showered my VA medical card and was denied treatment. Lady at front desk told me I'm not in their system, so can't help you
That's B.S. I'm a 80% Disabled Veteran! I will be calling the Secretary of Veteran's Affairs in Washington D.C. on this clinic. "We are Veteran's " and should be treated with the up most Respect !!!

Just got done with my first visit to the Blairsville VA clinic. I can’t speak to others experiences here, but from start to finish it was an excellent visit. From Joann who checked me in to Melissa the nurse to Jessica my PA and everyone I interacted with.

It’s a nice facility, too. Clean, good wait times. No complaints. For those who talk about calling, I am sure it’s frustrating but tbh use secure messaging it’s always quicker to get whatever you need taken care of.

Very happy with my switch to this clinic.

They are very pleasant to deal with and generally go above and beyond to help. However, I wouldn't waste the time with their urgent care. It's far better to go to an urgent care that is affiliated with the VA so you can get the treatment you need. I needed a simple antibiotic for a very common infection. I called and they asked me to rush in to give a bio sample. They did not mention that they would withhold treatment for 4-5 days until their lab processed the sample. In the past, I've been prescribed an antibiotic to avoid the infection worsening. They suggested drinking cranberry juice, which is not effective.
I've attached a photo of places that can address urgent medical concerns in a timely manner.

Have been calling for 2 weeks. No one answers the phone. Sent an email one week ago today, no answer.
Walked in last week, they would not even talk to me (very rude) unless I filled out a ‘Health Benefits Update Form’ they gave me. Would not even let me explain why I was there. I am already registered at another facility and just wanted to ask about available services here in Blairsville.
This is not a very good place if you need help.
