We really had a great time here! The tour was very informative and all the adults agreed they could have listened to more Colorado and mining history. The gold panning was fun for both kids and adults! Loved that it was in a shaded area with a natural stream. Really enjoyed it and it didn't not have a super cheesy tourist feel! Also, the small group (only 9 people) was great! Would recommend to anyone, especially families with kids!

My husband, son (12), son (8) and myself found this place online and thought it would be cool for the kids. We all panned for gold and had a great time! Jo was great and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this experience. It definitely exceeded our expectations

Lots of great information about the history of mining in the area and the impact it had on the local terrain / ecology. The tour guide and his son were very friendly and helpful, and our family really enjoyed the time we spent here!

I'm drying blank on the name, but the guide and his family where the highlight of our 10-day trip in Colorado. One of the coolest stops we made. Highly recommend for anybody of any age. My 2, 6 and 7 year old were just as engaged as I was the whole time. Plus we found some specs of gold, how cool is that?

Nicest folks we have met since we've been out here. Extremely knowledgeable and their admiration for the history of the area and gold mining in general is infectious. I would highly recommend spending a few hours there. Very kid/family friendly and I'm looking forward to trying out a few areas on my own that they suggested.

Wonderful tour and experience! My kids were very interested and loved hearing about the history of gold mining in the area. Our guides were nice and informative! Had a blast! Loved that it was also a small group.

This was such a simple family experience that our family loved. From ages 12 to 77, it was a family favorite to pan for gold. Who knew it could be so relaxing?! Ron and Isaac are true gems, patient and really know their history. They made it really a fun experience. ?

Amazing experience! Great guides, great history, and great fun! My wife and I took our 8 and 9 year old daughters and the entire family had an enjoyable time. We had previously paid for a resort based gold panning, and this was half the price and four times the experience. This should be considered a must do activity during a summer Breckenridge trip. One of our favorite parts of our vacation. We even found some gold.
