I thought a library was to be quiet for reading, studying and gathering facts pertaining to your interests. NOT QUIET AT ALL. VERY LOUD!! It is on a Tuesday around 5pm. DO BETTER !!!

Absolute 10/10, they have after school activities for kids, adults and teens, if you have a kid 13-18 and don't know what to do with them I'd recommend looking into the YA group, I'm a frequent member there and we do lots of fun stuff like anime and manga club, teen advisory board, and occasionally arts and crafts! Staff is very nice and accepting 🥳

We LOVE our library. I have young kids and we all love going to this library. We enjoy the toddler and preschool story times the most right now, but I'm sure as my kids get older we'll be participating in more and more of their family friendly activities. There is usually a lot going on! The staff is always friendly and helpful and the facility stays clean and organized. We haven't taken advantage of the park and museum passes yet, but plan to and love that they are available.

It's a beautiful place. There's lots of family friendly activities. Tons of books, movies and games. You can also print and fax papers for a very low price. You can use computers and Internet if you need to. They have outdoor seating as well. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They offer lots of things that I didn't list. If you live in the area you should definitely check it out.

Not a good place to try to study, tutor, or read. I'm not sure when allowing people to scream, holler and run amuck in a library became acceptable...but it's basically a playground. Even the adults do it across the isles. When I was little, I was repremended for whispering.

I'll never not love the library with my whole heart. With that deep affection in mind, I have a few suggestions for CCL:
1) Sunday hours, please? Even if it's just for a few hours in the afternoon.
2) Late afternoon knitting/crocheting group.
3) Host a storyteller series!
Other than those wee suggestions, we love this precious little library. The restrooms are clean, the facility is clean, and the staff are sweet and helpful. All the summer activities for the kids are great, too.

You know how to tell if a small town library is a part of the community? Walk thru the doors and listen. Traditionally, you think of libraries as a nice quiet place to read with whispered conversations. This library is buzzing. Buzzing with activities for young and old. Buzzing with conversations and kids learning the joy of books and all those adventures they can take you on. A community cooling location for those HOT summer days. It is a fantastic place to learn new skills and hobbies. It is a great place to meet old friends and make some new ones. The staff is knowledgeable and dedicated to their patrons. I recommend you stop by anytime!

It seems like a nice library, helpful staff, way bigger than the one we usually go to but also very loud, which was odd. Maybe we should teach our kiddos how to be respectful and quiet in such places. If my 4 year old can do it, your 6 and up child can do the same.
