While the medical care was great, the medical office staff have no idea what they are doing and through their negligence, place patients in unnecessary pain and danger. I have spent 2 months trying to get them to send simple records to insurance to no avail, still in pain, still with no procedure. I can often not even get through to speak with anyone. This is an absolute breakdown of patient care (which involves more than just doctor care, but also the essential medical records and efficient front end staff).

This review consists of two parts. Firstly, I want to commend the medical staff for their exceptional care and friendly demeanor. They exhibited genuine concern and performed their duties with outstanding professionalism.

However, my experience with the front office was disappointing. Their attitude was indifferent and they displayed a lack of concern for both my well-being and my input. Mary and Christy, in particular, were rude and showed a callous disregard for my requests. Despite repeatedly asking them to contact my insurance company or mail me the bill, their response remained consistently dismissive: "We are a private company, we don't operate in that manner." It was evident that their primary focus was on collecting payment upfront, rather than prioritizing patient care.

Although my insurance covered the entire cost of the procedure, it took an excessive 60 days and numerous phone calls before I received full credit. This delay further underscores the office's disregard for patient welfare, highlighting their primary concern as financial gain rather than patient well-being.

Good care, terrible service. Both times I’ve been here (for a consultation and a follow up) I’ve had to wait at least 45 minutes past my appointment time for the doctor. What is the point of having an appointment if no one actually pays attention to the time? Once I’m finally seen, the doctor spends 5 minutes with me and then I have to pay a ridiculous amount of money. Doctor and nurses are friendly, the doctor is knowledgeable, but my time is no less important than anyone else’s so I likely won’t be coming back here.

This is a great practice and I enjoy working with Dr. Shephard and his medical assistants.

He has been an excellent specialist and has great patient care.

This review is no reflection of him.

However,

I cannot speak for the new office location with the RUDE and unprofessional person at the front desk. But if it was my office, she would be FIRED—No questions asked.

She looks UNHAPPY AND MISERABLE. Basically, like she doesn’t give a damn.

I also spoke to her manager and vented my frustrations—CHRISTINE MCINTYRE.

All she did was talk over me and kept saying she was the OFFICE MANAGER!

I don’t care what your title is

But obviously, it’s working for you!!!

This explains the behavior of the employee behind the front desk.

In today’s world, I guess people feel like they can talk to patients and be disrespectful.

Do you expect a person just to sit there and take that?

RESPECT IS RESPECT!

Maybe you need to figure out how to properly organize a patient’s paperwork. This way time is not wasted..PERIOD.

Let’s just say we agree to DISAGREE.

I will still come here to see Dr. Shephard and his assistants.

This part of the visit was 2000% better than checking in with that ugly personality at the front desk.

Horrendous experience. It has been 6 weeks since my appointment and I still do not have the medication prescribed to me from Dr. Popili. I have been having to call his medical assistant Tanya every week trying to get them to send over the necessary paperwork to my insurance. Tanya's phone always goes to voicemail and voicemails are never returned, along with not responding to emails. The only time I've been able to get a hold of her is through a supervisor personally speaking with her. The supervisor is sending the paperwork over herself so hopefully this is the last I have to deal with this office.

Dr Reddy treated my partner and his staff was professional, efficient and friendly Dr Reddy explained everything that would happen during and after the procedure and during recovery he came in to let me know everything went well. I recently went to see him myself because of his professional and personable demeanor. I would highly recommend him and have recommended him to friends and family!
