Clean facility, good food and could not have asked for better care. Pre-op with Darlene and Kelly then post-op on the floor with Sherril, Erica and Paige was absolutely amazing. Kind, empathetic and attentive. They kept me informed and took great care of me. Very thankful for such a positive experience.

I walked in and was greeted right away.i was brought to the back quickly and the nurse asked me my name and dob and we discussed why i was there. She quickly got me what I needed and I was on my way. Everyone was very nice and professional.

So prior to duke owing this hospital ( which just happened yesterday 4/2/25) this was THE WORST HOSPITAL TO HAVE A BABY AT!!!! LIKE EVER!!!!!! I don’t know what their plan is moving forward but it was terrible!! I had my baby there and no one told me they did not have a NICU!! If your baby has any issue that needs more than 4 hours in a very small under qualified room they “call” a NICU your baby and you will be transported !!!! Just go to a hospital that already has that so u are safe no matter what happens!!

From the time I spent in the ER , then admitted to the Telemetry unit , until I was discharged home the care I received was excellent. The Nurses, nurses aides. Physicians and Dietary staff were so professional. They explained in detail the tests that were ordered, the results of those tests and what options I had regarding approaches and care. Total Transparency! I felt there was consistency in my care. I believe each test and procedure I had was appropriate in my case. The room I stayed in was comfortable and the staff encouraged my wife to stay with me overnight if she chose to. The food was good . This was my first admission to Lake Norman Medical Center but I have been a patient in large trauma centers. I am very satisfied with the level of care I received at Lake Norman.

I was there for a meniscus repair. I was admitted very promptly and it was very efficient. When I was taken back to prepare for surgery the nurses and staff were very efficient, friendly and professional. The only problem I had was the extremely long wait before I was taken to surgery. It was well over 4 hours before I was taken to surgery, which went very smoothly.

I was very pleased with my care while I was there. The nurse staff were very helpful and friendly. They took very good care of me. I would recommend anyone to go here for a procedure. I know if I have to have anything done again I’ll be choosing to come back here again. The receptionist was a complete pleasure, loved her personality. Thank you all for making my experience a special one when it was so scary for me ! ♥️
