Had an appointment to drop lab. Arrived 30min earlier, the receptionist told me I was at the wrong location making me look stupid. Drove to the different location she gave me. There I was told I am the wrong location and I need to go back where I was in first place because they don't know why the receptionist sent me away.
I ended up being late for my work despite arriving 30 min early. I thought Duke would hire professional workers who would not unnecessary be sending patients to tour Mebane unwillingly. So much risk to just drop a lab.

Honestly, I'd love to see Doctors and nurses start acting like they care about their patients. It's gotten much worse since Covid.

Our son has been seeing doctors here for over 10-years for ADHD. They change staff, doctors constantly. We've gone through at least 5 doctors and PAs, if not more.

They just don't care. Too busy trying to push harmful vaccines on patients or worried your sinus infection is Covid. They don't really care about trying old-school, normal medicines. Too busy pushing the latest fads or medicines they are being paid by pharmaceutical companies to pimp.

Ask for a refill on a medication. The nurse cannot even be bothered to LOOK at the chart to see he's got an in-person appointment scheduled. Or that he sees the doctor (PA) like CLOCKWORK, on a regular basis. Every 3 months, as demanded by the office. He's never missed an appointment.

Gone back & forth with the "nurse" at Duke on their message system. She told me our son needed an appt to prescribe medication. Which I told her he HAS scheduled in 2 weeks. (She should be able to use her eyes to see this appt) Her reply was I'm sorry, I didn't notice. Now, she writes back and says we sent the request to the PA for his medication, but she cannot promise it's getting filled because he needs an appt. OMG- literally the messages are recorded in their system and it's only been several hours of communicating.

This doctors office doesn't care about patients. It's just about how many patients can they schedule to make enough money.

Dr Gwynn is awesome. She listened to my concerns and gave me a great option. I was seen promptly when I arrived and all the staff was great!

doesn’t respect patients’ time. scheduled my mom’s appointments two hours apart so we sat there for over three hours today, then got turned away from the lab because it was closing early.

Dr. Behling is a caring, knowledgeable, and very personal doctor. We have had nothing but good experiences in the 7 years we have been to Duke Primary Care.

This place always had a welcoming atmosphere and very respectful their providers are knowledgeable especially dr. Mychal Powell she has been amazing in providing care she is knowledgeable understanding and compassionate in what she does and she truly listens to concerns and isn’t dismissive she truly cares and understands her patients, thank you Dr. Powell!

I just moved to NC back in August and was really worried about finding a good primary care doctor due to horrible experiences I've had in the past. My mother in law recommended I try duke primary care and I am so thankful that I did. Dr Goeres is an absolute angel! She represents everything that a doctor should be and makes you feel like she genuinely cares about what is happening to you. If she can't figure it out she makes sure she gets you to someone who can. She is beyond professional and has the best bed side manner I've seen in a PCP. If I could give 10 stars i would. Highly recommend her as a PCP!

I am sorry to hear that others have had a problem, but that hasn't been my experience. I have been going to see Dr. Grandis for a couple years now and have only positive things to say. The staff has been very courteous to me, the wait times have not been excessive, and the care I have received from the doctor and nurses have been top notch. My experience with Duke Primary Care has been one of the best I've ever had going to a doctor. In fact, I told my husband that when we move back to Chapel Hill, I am still coming to Mebane to see Dr. Grandis. That's my two cents, take of it what you will.
