Great small museum. We were driving through town with some extra time on our hands and search for things to do and this museum came up. The displays were great and the staff was wonderful and very informative.

My wife and I took a spontaneous trip here and it was great! It is rather small, but it still took us about 45 minutes to get through. Plenty to read and see. It was fun and they have a nice gift shop.

Very well organized, informative… i know more about Tn. History now. It shows how the hocky preditors got their name. The Tn. state rock, shell etc. where to go to see caves and geodes. Lots of Tn fossils and authentic fossils from Montana… read the cards… they enhance the experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean and bright bldg

Truly a hidden gem, I had a great time ! Lots of cool things to see 😊 it's a small space but don't let that deter you at all, (& they are trying to expand /move? So if you would like to make a donation to them I'm sure they would greatly appreciate it. everyone was super nice and I definitely intend on coming back soon!
And the admission price is low/definitely worth it plus some, in the gift shop too

My 9 yr old daughter loves dinos and getting the chance to see REAL dinosaur bones displayed here at the Earth Experience - Middle Tennessee Museum of Natural History was mesmerizing 🦖
