I don't get the bad reviews. This is a busy office. If you call & leave a voice mail, they will call you back. I've never had any trouble with this clinic in the many years I've been a patient. Treat them with respect & you'll receive the same. I called today & left a v-mail at 1:30 pm & received a call back in less than 30 min. You can't ask for anything better.

I don't agree with some of the reviews painting ECU Richlands in a bad light. This is why . . I called - they picked up. I requested an appointment- I got one the next day. My PA's assistant greeted me in a friendly manner, immediately took my Vitals and in a few minutes my PA entered the exam room as though he was genuinely happy to see me. He was extremely concerned about my overall welfare, asked all the right questions, and provided me with a comprehensive plan that included blood work, medications, and future self care. Including the blood panel, the conversation and check up with my Primary Care PA, I was in and out in exactly 60 minutes. Can't speak for the other disgruntled reviewers but it seems that everyone in my story had good attitudes. Kinda makes you wonder . . .

I've called and left 3 voicemails asking for an appointment over the course of 6 months and have yet to receive a call back. They've never answered the phone either. Not sure what kind of organization in the year 2024 is so behind on the times that even a phone call is too much to ask for. But if there ever was such a place, it's no surprise that it lies within Richlands, North Carolina. I wish I could speak on the professionalism of the nurses and doctors, however I cannot even get ahold of a receptionist. I think I'd rather drive to Jacksonville or even Wilmington before trying here again. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to get help when it's urgently needed if it's this impossible to schedule a routine appointment. If you value your time and health, you may need to consider a much farther drive from Richlands.

I would leave 0 stars if I could... Showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment, filled out paperwork and turned it back in, then continued to sit in the waiting room for ONE HOUR. Asked staff if they had any idea how much longer I would be waiting past my appointment time and they said "I dont know. Do you have somewhere to be or something?". I told them yes, back to work. They said they would ask a nurse and get back to me. I waited another 20 minutes and still no response. Went back up and cancelled my appointment and left. There was ZERO communication from them, ZERO apologies, nothing.

I have had 2 appointments one of which was last minute super urgent, they got me in even though it was super busy. I even filled out the new patient paperwork ahead of time. I'm not sure why there's negative feedback here. But I love this practice more than other Healthcare providers I have seen.

Terrible, if I could give less than one star I would. Provider is always busy and if you want to get any kind of update you have to constantly call and good luck getting test results.

Filled out paperwork as a new patient. I was informed that once I returned with the paperwork, I would be contacted by the patient appointment Pogue. After four business days, 12 phone calls that were never answered and three messages left, no call was returned. When I went into the office to attempt a face to face setting to obtain an appointment, I was ostracized and confronted by the staff, as they inferred it was somehow my fault. I have no idea if the physicians are competent because I couldn't get past the folks in the fron. An unfortunate case of employment narcissism.
