Went in for sanford dermatology!

Con:
- The wait is horrendous,
- The waiting room is small and did not feel sanitary
- Customer service just wasn't at the forefront
- when called in, gave basic data asked to strip down and then left waiting for almost 20 minutes. At the 10 min mark, got cold, I just put my clothes back on

Pro
- dermatology doctor was very knowledgeable and professional when seen
- I like the exit through the back method (allows for more privacy)

I have been with Dr. Reyes for over 25 years and since this new company took over you can’t get anything accomplished. Went in yesterday 18 March 2025 really sick and was seen by a PA. They did a swab to check for Flu or covid. Said it took about 30 minutes for results and they released me saying they would call me when results were finished. An hour later haven’t heard from them. Tried calling but you get stuck in the lost loop of a recorded line. Left a message finally. As of noon on the 19th still haven’t heard from them. Tried calling again and just got pissed because no one answers the phone.
Probably start looking for another primary care manager.

We have been coming to this office for well over 10 years. It has absolutely gone downhill and can't possibly get much worse in regards to service. I've tried to call and speak to someone using all 5 different "teams" from the phone prompt. No answers at any of them, and no return calls when you go through the painful process just leave a message. And the patient portal is a waste of space on the internet. May as well be trying to communicate using smoke signals. This office has become an absolute disaster and will either be up for sale again or out of business very soon.

The doctors and nurses are wonderful. Since Edgewater was sold to MedFirst the service has gone way down. There is no such thing has personal touch any more. They set appointments without consulting with patients first. Then when you call to reschedule you get no answer, you leave a message, but no return call from them. The staff is rude and uncaring to the patients needs. Big mistake to go with MedFirst.

Only giving 1 star because you cannot leave O, have been trying to call this facility for 2 days and have left multiple messages, was finally able to get ahold of someone on their appointment line and asked if I could speak with someone in this office she said to call their main number, I informed her that I have tried and had a simple question of whether or not I needed an appt for bloodwork and do they do that at certain times, the girl got snotty with me and hung up. So unprofessional to run a medical clinic this way, I understand that you are busy but for the front desk not to answer nor the clinical staff and not have anyone return your calls is completely unprofessional.

I have been a patient here for 10 plus years and I have recently had to find a new provider ! No one ever answers the phone and recently I was refused to be seen because some how my insurance switched my pcp to a random provider , sat 40 mintues with my newborn before they told me that , I corrected the issue came back showed proof and because there system still showed other wise they still wouldn’t see me and it was just the delivery of the whole encounter very rude and uncaring. Every office I’m established at would still have been able to see me until new insurance cared arrived or system updated the new provider I chose is seeing me before I change my pcp and it updates .

Don’t even try to call this place or try to do a pre employment drug test here. When I went their system was down told me “I could go anywhere” that was not true the other urgent cares turned me down. Waited the next day to call about their system no one answered the phone no matter what option you pick. Just get to talk to the good ole computer and listen to the phone ring.

Been going here my whole life, well they recently sold out to some company or something and now you no longer get a call from the ladies at the front desk you get a call from a robot on a Saturday to remind you about your appointment that is in 2 days. Well you can’t call back and reschedule because surprise they are closed on Saturdays now! Absolutely insane! Not to mention I was unable to reschedule my last appointment a month and a half ago because their PHONE SYSTEM was down!
