Long story short. It wasn’t even the 2 months wait list. It was I finally got my spouse to agree to a psa test. Family history reasons. After waiting 2 weeks for a result on the chart as he is told don’t call noone really answers the phone. Well; no result he has to call. Actually I called not for the result just why the wait. I’m scared Into thinking something is wrong. He calls and someone returns his call 6 hours later rude and holding background conversations. To say, the psa test was never done. How do you drop a ball like that? They drew blood and didn’t even run this test? Stuff happens but this is almost crazy as he told them and they confirmed he needed the test and drew his blood. I have been here before and had decent experiences but this was ridiculous and now I have to force him to go back. He works too. He has a busy life too not just Emory. At least be kind when you make the error. I spoke to someone higher up because the person who called him was incapable and this person was kind so that’s the 2 stars. Seems the Nurse practitioners were nice as well.

Dr.Fareed was very knowledgeable and attentive to details. He reviewed my fiancé chart which was great; we did not have to explain the reason for the visit in its entirety. He knew what was needed and executed. Thank you

My husband and I are patients of Dr. Ortega. We love her! She is thorough, treats you holistically and remembers past visits and what was discussed/recommended. We are so happy to have found her and cannot commend her professionalism and genuine care enough. She also has a great sense of humor and understands her patients individually.

Dr. Fareed!!! I have never had such a comprehensive exam, ever, in 40 years. This was on a 1st meet consult. Dr. Fareed is the well educated Doctors you can expect from Emory. I would never go elsewhere again. Pleasantly surprised.

It was like that show House. If there is an issue he's going to find it. I'm just taken aback because no doctor has ever shown so much care. His bedside manner is amazing and he took all the time needed.

Dr. Fareed actually read all my updates before I arrived. We discussed it all! I've come with print out of things to discuss with other doctors and get shoved out the door. I am very happy at this point.

I don’t see a doctor at this location, but my experience with the lab was awesome. My doctors are all downtown and called in labs so it’s so much more convenient for me to go to Acworth than truck it all the way downtown. The front desk staff were great and the actual labs were so quick my infant didn’t even wake up from her nap until after we’d made it all the way home. Will definitely be back.

First, this review is NOT a reflection of my doctor. Dr Gilbert is the most amazing doctor I’ve ever been to for anything. That said, when Emory bought out this practice, everything else tanked. I have a high deductible plan (3k) individual and I’m relatively healthy. I usually only need every 6 month prescription renewal visits, but my SELF PAY is 527.00! I just had a sick visit, SELF PAY was 755! I can no longer afford to go here. When people are hurting to afford necessities, Emory seizes on the high deductible band wagon and sticks it to us.

Dr. Ortega is amazing. She is goofy but she is very through with her patients. It was my first doctors appointment since I was 16 & she made me feel comfortable & safe. Also the front desk ladies were very kind & welcoming. Check out nurse was super quick and sweet as well, I am so glad they take my insurance. My grandmother & I now are both seen by D. Ortega & We are very happy with her care.
