It's been closed for 4 years, they are hoping at some point to reopen it. Spoke to the curator as they just redid the garden

We loved visiting. There's a lot of history to be found in this quaint house. The Sisters are kind, welcoming, and full of knowledge they're ready to share. Definitely worth the visit.

This place is amazing. And it's free! But the Sisters of St Joseph who operate the place and upkeep it, function solely on donations. So I recommend that if you can, just drop something in the donation box. It really is the oldest house in the oldest part of the oldest city in the continental United States. There's some musical instruments from the 17th century, an old printing press that they used to make textbooks to educate the freed slaves and children. Just go if you get the chance. The staff there are so friendly and informed and just pleased to have your visit and make your acquaintance

We happened upon this little place on accident. The garden was what initially attraxted us as my boyfriend and i are aspiring greenthumbs. The history of the items acquired by the sisters is enough to impress and inform anyone, whether or not they are of the Catholic faith. I recommend donating a dollar or five as the tour is free and the women running the house are entertaining and knowledgeable.

Very interesting and imformative tour. Alot of history of St. Augustine very well explained. All the antiques and all the history of the antiques was explained very well. I would highly reccomend.

It is one of the more interesting museums in the area. It's completely free and gives you a good history lesson of St. Augustine.
