It's free, so that's good. If you want to learn a lot about early Florida history, it is full of information. Although there are some interactive displays, there is LOTS of reading, so elementary kids will be bored after about 20 minutes.

A wonderful museum! The exhibit space isn't vast but does comprise a large portion of the ground floor, you can easily spend an hour or more here and there is plenty of great information about local colonial history as well as a nice collection of artifacts and some interactive stuff for the kids to enjoy.
Also the exhibit space is free!

Great! I really did not expect a free exhibition to be that informative abd well presented. Our son really enjoyed himself there too, and he is not a great fan of museums. Wonderful! Congratulations!

This place was really nice. I spent two hrs here with my sisters and we just read all of the history and did all the activities until they started closing and told us it was time to go.
