Couldn’t go lower than 1! Used to love coming here until: 1) Due to a miscommunication I didn’t get my anxiety medication refilled. So I went off it cold turkey, after I was told the next available appointment wasn’t until 4 month from then. 2) Can never get an appointment when I need it. Forced to go to ER or Urgent Care! 3) The staff at the front desk is flippy and anything but compassionate! I’ve been unable to schedule an appointment for 4 month AGAIN! Since I never seem to be able to get an appointment when I can get off work. 4) Without a forewarning, when putting in a refill request for one of my meds. The pharmacist (! Not the doctor’s office !) informed me that “I was no longer a patient there!” Bathing in the compassion! … NOT Too busy to care for the patients! I’m going to an independent office from now on!

Great start for my recovery. The entire staff made me feel comfortable. They were very caring. Dr. Aker did a fantastic job of advising me of my alternatives and understanding my needs. This is a wonderful care facility for anyone facing cancer.

There has never been a time that I've received poor service as a patient or a caregiver. I've always appreciated the care provided especially to my wife, kids, and parents when they've had to be a patient at FirstHealth. They really do a great job of caring for people.

Good Morning I’d like to begin by saying I absolutely love my primary Doctor on Teal Dr in Raeford NC. However Firsthealth prefers for patients to reach out to their Dr via the app. I’m uncertain if there is a staff shortage or my Dr does not have a reliable staff but I send many messages through this app and to no avail. Very disappointing. I hesitated posting this complaint, unfortunately I could not stand not mentioning the lack of communication between Dr and patient.

The Emergency room care is horrible. My mother was brought in on ambulance after just being discharged from a hospitalization a few days prior and threw out in the waiting room in a wheelchair for hours on end. No vitals, feet and legs so swolen and just dangling getting bigger by the minute. She was confined with no way to use the restroom or wheel herself to get help. She had to call the ER from her phone to ask for help. Nobody came to assist. I finally had to call the ER only to be hung up on after I was placed on hold for 19 mins. Called back again and explained what was going on and that she needed some help, and was asked does she need to use the restroom “Well absolutely, she has been confined in a waiting room alone for 6 hours, yes she needs basic care” How can you throw a very sick, recently discharged, senior in the waiting room with heart failure and severe swelling, and not even do random vitals I have heard things have gotten bad, but this is borderline abuse. I’m so disappointed. God forbid we ever have to call medical services again, we will definitely be requesting another hospital.

We had an amazing experience with Dr Sanders surgical team and nursing staff of First Surgical. Thank you all so much for making my son with disability so comfortable through several procedures! We truly appreciate it!

Dr. Brenner is simply amazing. He completed a left total shoulder reversal on my momma. His bedside manner and attention to both patient and family is the best I’ve experienced. The nursing staff here has been great as well. Thank you Moore Regional for taking care of your patients!!!!

Came to the ER because I was in a lot of pain and I am currently 31 weeks pregnant. Even after explaining to the receptionist that I was in a lot of pain she advised me to walk myself upstairs rather than getting me a wheelchair to be transported. I had no clue where I was going and I’m walking through the hallway in so much pain when a few nurse stop to help me. When I finally get into a room they ran a few tests and it turned out that I had the flu. After finding out that I had the flu the nurse wanted me out asap she claimed that I needed to hurry up and leave because she didn’t want to put all the other pregnant moms at risk, however I feel like she was just worried about herself getting sick and if that’s the case you shouldn’t be working in the hospital!! They also kept offering me medicine despite the fact that I told them I hadn’t ate anything which caused me to throw up. This was my first time at this hospital and after the care I received I am not looking forward to giving birth at this location.
