I found a yoga class on eventbrite and registered for a group of 7 on 8/31 in the pinellas park location. I would like to say the yoga instructor is a 10/10 and I would go to any location but this one to see her again. But I would give Florida Blue staff zero stars if I could. We arrived at 10a as the event stated. The class had already begun. Not knowing we needed to complete documents we wouldve come earlier. The yoga instructor welcomed us in and made room regardless. The lady in the back immediately said, do you have reservations with an attitude, I showed her and said yes, she then said I don't think we can accommodate you all. She was not welcoming AT ALL! She then said with an attitude, well you all have to sign wavers. She gave dirty looks the entire time and even yelled out during the class as a customer entered that we needed to make room for her customers. I have never been more uncomfortable in an establishment in my life. I would hope our race had nothing to do with her attitude towards us.

For future reference, I would like to say eventbrite allows you to cap the number of tickets or customers so your location is not too full and give directions what one must do to arrive and start on time. It is not our fault the place was packed. But coming from a whole other county to attend we had no plans of leaving.

Again we loved the yoga instructor and even took photos with her. But after our experience with Florida Blue staff I wouldn't want any services from your company. Please note, we are all professionals in the medical, legal and government sector. As an government official, who also handles customer service I believe your staff needs to be retrained on customer service and common courtesy.

For almost a year I have been trying to resolve a billing issue to no avail. It was really disappointing, because i consider Blue Cross Blue Shield to be one of the top health insurance providers. I was loosing faith, but thank goodness I got a hold of Sabrina on my latest attempt to resolve this issue. She quickly found and fixed the problem, she even called me back to let me know it was handled just like she promised. Thank you Sabrina for being so polite and professional, she is a real asset at Florida Blue.

Tonya, Tonya, Tonya from the Pinellas Park office of Florida Blue,,, If only Florida Blue could hire more employees like her, especially in the headquarters of Miami or Jacksonville where there is virtually no one that is capable of answering even simple questions. Once you get past the talking computer supplied by an alien nation that asks so many questions to finally make you so angry that you want to jump off a tall building you are now considered ready to be transferred around to at least three people who all ask for the same information again and again to only to get an associate who barely knows anything relevant as to why you are calling. I am thinking suicide at this point as there is no reason to live as I am buried in brochures from so many companies regarding my Medicare supplement and being an old guy whose brain synapses are not snapping like they use to was just so confusing for me. I decided I had to go see for myself eyeball to eyeball what these so called company trained employees look like in person as I have been with Blue Cross/Florida Blue for 30 years or more and wanted to know exactly what my benefits were now that I am on Medicare so I could make a decision if I wanted to go with another insurer. So I got in my truck angry and headed to Pinellas Park to try to get some quality information from a Florida Blue employee figuring that at least one of them staffing the office was trained properly by Florida Blue to answer some very basic questions. I was greeted properly from a smiling face at the door, spoke with a very nice gentleman who checked me in and directed me to Tonya’s office. What a breath of fresh air to finally to meet in person with someone knowledgeable and highly qualified to answer all my questions simply and quickly in a way that I can even understand and who actually cares about helping you make the right decisions for yourself. My advice,,,, never call the 800 numbers to corporate, make an appointment with Tonya if you don’t want to be stressed out dealing with people over the phone at Florida Blue headquarters who are barely qualified to answer a phone let alone provide simple correct answers. She deserves recognition from the CEO of the company and a raise. If only Florida Blue would put more effort in finding more people like her, they would be able to get rid of a lot of dead weight on their payroll and give people like Tonya a better pay scale. Do yourself a favor and ask for her, you will be pleased you did. I left keeping my plan intact when just a few hours prior I was going to jump ship to any plan but Florida Blue. Within just a few minutes she made me realize that would have been a poor decision. I am very happy with my experience with Tonya. A real professional !!! Gary

I have called and spoke with several of the customer service agents at Florida Blue in Pinellas Park office, and I have experienced outstanding customer service, I especially have to give a shout out to a certain agent named Tonya, who has walked me though everything I needed to know about my insurance plan that I choose, and has always been there for me, to answer any questions I may have about my plan. I am very happy with Florida Blue, and very impressed with their customer service! Thank you so much, to everyone at Florida Blue!

I guess everyone has different experiences. I have the Florida Blue Blue Medicare HMO plan. My agent is great, my prescriptions are $5-10 co pay, my doctor (in network) is zero co pay and in over 5 years I've not had a single problem.

Florida Blue stole $8700 right out of my pocket by implementing something called a copay accumulator program. It's just wrong. It's theft. It's not legal in many states, but this is Florida.

Be warned - if you receive any manufacturers copay assistance - it used to count towards your deductible and out-of-pocket max (still does with many insurers). However this company won't even call you or send a letter - you may visit the doctor and find out that the big blue won't pay a dime until you spend another $8700. In short - I got $8700 in assistance and Florida Blue took it and I still have to pay $8700.

Thanks but I think you forgot about the 2nd part of "Healthcare".

Despite making over payments and making them a month early there was a mistake made within their billing department where my funds were going to another account number. The billing department sent a policy termination notification letter to the Health Insurance Market place. for more than 2 weeks now, I have been trying to work with the Pinellas Park Center to get this fixed. They admit this was a mistake on behalf of BCBS, but they can only give me assurances this will get fixed in 24-48 hours (more than 2 weeks later). My unpaid medical bills are piling up, and when I tried to call this Pinellas park office this afternoon, Today, I am only able to leave a message instead of getting help from a live person. I am now having to drive over to their office to speak with them about mounting unpaid medical bills. I was told my best option was to file a complaint with the Florida Insurance Commission as well as with my local Congressman.
