Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitor Center

Un lugar en donde se vive de primera mano la historia de Norte América. Los oficiales del parque prestos a ayudar, en la tienda de souvenirs muy amables y cálidos. Realmente un lugar muy recomendado para ser visitado.

Just went in to look and they had great exhibits. Just wish we had gone in sooner because they were getting ready to close. The gentleman at the information counter was very nice.

It’s good to know history, but it’s very sad on how this happened, but it was a benefit to end slavery and union states Great visitor center.

Park ranger was really knowledgeable and loved to share his love for the history with us. Great little museum and a cool place to walk around and see the chaos left behind from one of our most brutal moments. You won't regret the visit.

A bit busy parking today. There is a lot for the history person to see. The exhibit in the visitor center is interactive and good for all ages. They do a junior ranger program for kids where they can learn about the area battlefields and earn a very nice patch. Be sure to take in the orientation film it is top notch and if you listen carefully you won't believe who the narrator is. Spend some time in the national cemetery and note the statistics on the mortuary cannon at the center by the statue. Also a good place for those who want quiet meditation.
