This was a very eye opening experience of slavery and the plight of black men and women in America and the world. I was pleasantly surprised by the knowledge of the owners and I would highly recommend visiting this museum if you are interested in "true" history of our enslavement in America.

This is an awesome museum!!! Details many historical facts which one might not be aware of! Explores the past and present of Afro-Americans as well as more specifically the plight of the Gullah people and what they have to do to survive! One will ascertain many facts that you were not aware of and a visit will definitely enlighten you!! If you are easily offended by the true history of slavery and the repercussions that has impacted our society then this museum is definitely not for you!!!
