I would give zero stars if I could. Gessler Clinic has been completely unprofessional and negligent with my referral. It was supposed to be faxed on Monday, the 3rd, yet here we are—NINE days later—and it was only finally sent today at 4:40 PM. During this time, no one made any effort to contact me or rectify the situation. Instead, I had to call multiple times a day for three days straight just to get them to do their job.

Paola, the nurse, was rude when I spoke with her and outright admitted she never sent the referral. Tiffany, the office coordinator, responded to me via email, yet failed to include any kind of apology for the unnecessary delay and inconvenience. The lack of care, accountability, and professionalism at this clinic is beyond me. If this is how they handle something as simple as a referral, I can only imagine how they treat more urgent matters. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My family and I have come here for several years - but no more! The doctor’s quit constantly, so you have to “find” a new doctor each year. That new doctor now bills you and your insurance for a “new patient” visit, when you are NOT a new patient (rather than billing for annual preventative exams)! Not to mention that, but you have to call 11 times just to make an appointment or talk to anyone, and they are extremely rude when you do call. We have had them cancel appointments on us, and then later send us reminders of the same appointments! I will not be back now that BayCare has taken over and I encourage all of their other patients to do the same! There are better, more reliable, and financially responsible doctors out there - you don’t need your business and money going to a place that now just scams you for money!

We arrived at my husband's appointment and was told that the doctor was not in the office all week. This is Tuesday. I called last Friday to confirm the appointment and was told he still had an appointment. When we arrived, we met with a very rude receptionist who made us feel as though she was inconvenienced by our arrival. She told us they sent a letter the last week of October which we never received a month later.
Very cold and rude. We are scheduling somewhere else. If that is the tone of the office, we will not be going there again.
I gave it two stars because the initial receptionist was friendly setting us up.

Seeking care elsewhere. This has happened twice now. I sent a message asking for advice from my primary care physician for a medical issue I had been diagnosed with. It took 3 days to even acknowledge my message, and they wanted to schedule me for an appointment on a day that I already had an appointment scheduled. The last one was pretty basic but the same thing. Had an issue with my eye, sent a message first thing Tuesday morning. Should I go to urgent care? Should I make an appointment? Can you just send an RX for the eye drops? I could see they had read the message but never even acknowledged the message. Thursday around 4:30PM I get a call back from Corissa the medical assistant apologizing for the miscommunication and asking if I can come in the following day to be seen... Umm no. You never got back to me so I went to urgent care. Called again Friday morning apologizing again for the miscommunication. Ummm... No, there was no miscommunication because there was no communication from your end.

This clinic is horrendous! As an African American the condescending racial bias and treatment of these medical professionals and staff are God awful! They do not care or take initiative into looking into your health. They do not return calls. & Good luck if you get to speak to an appointment secretary because their attitudes are HORRIBLE! The racial condescending attitude and treatment is awful. In 2024 there should be NO room for any racial bias and treatment especially with patients in healthcare. Unpleasant, unfriendly atmosphere! Beware!!!

After 27 yrs of being a patient the transition to Baycare has left me without a Dr. They no longer take floridablue/ Medicare. and was told that Baycare group was the reason when in fact it was solely the decision of Gessler clinic .it was very misleading to me trying to find a Dr. That was not affiliated with Baycare group when in fact other dr.s happily accept my ins. ..hey Gessler HIRE. BETTER HELP

Are you nervous about having blood drawn? Don't be scared; these folks get lots of practice! The phlebotomists at Gessler Clinic are truly exceptional. Just be sure to arrive early to avoid longer wait times!
