What an INCREDIBLE store! I had done plenty of research before coming into the store and was between Rimowa and Briggs & Riley. Quite honestly had intended to only check out the B&R and thought I’d likely order online. They were SO knowledgeable about the products they carried (and the Rimowa, which they no longer carry), they explained the differences between the versions they had in store and the B&R luggage I had found for less online. Not only that, but they offered incredibly competitive pricing (that you can’t find online), which sealed the deal. If you want high quality luggage at an extremely competitive price that allows you to also support local business, this is a no brainer. This is THE place to come for luggage!

In all of my travels I’ve never come across such a huge, well stocked luggage store that offers such a wide selection of different brands, at different price points, at incredibly discounted prices. I found H Saviner Luggage while searching for a full fledged luggage store that does repairs, vs. a shoe maker who attempts to make luggage repairs. I pulled my oversized piece of luggage out of the closet, and noticed a wheel was broken. I read the reviews, called them, and they said bring your suitcase in and we’ll do our best. Their BEST was super great, they so attentive, professional, and they were able to replace my wheel in a timely manner at a very reasonable price.

Great selection variety if you're looking for long-lasting, reliable luggage. The staff is very informative and SUPER nice. Not pushy at all which always makes me want to run...far and fast. The staff acknowledges that you're there and just lets you do your thing when shopping. They already know that if you have questions you're gonna ask. VERY happy with the luggage I purchased for my son & myself.

THANK YOU for my new 'vegan' Briggs and Riley bags!

I was in-store to look for 2 luggage sets, and the only bags that really caught my eye were the Briggs and Riley Commuter bags. The expandable and collapsible design is what really did it for me, however they were made with leather handles and other leather garnishings. I am an ethical vegan and I didn't want to have leather on my bags.

Luckily, Savinar Luggage was able customize my bags and replace all the leather with ethical cloth alternatives, and I was able to have 2 vegan-ized Briggs and Riley sets of luggage! It took them about a week to get me the bags, and the bags looked perfect. You would never be able to tell that the materials were switched out.

When I initially arrived one of the associates there was very rude and abrasive while talking to me. I almost left but the second person was polite and helpful. They kept my bag for almost 6 months with no communication aside from ME CALLING THEM and then didn’t even fix the bag. They told me that they could not get the part so I called the company myself and they do have the part for my suitcase. They lied to me! Very bad business. Awful communication. I do not recommend and will never go back.

Now let’s get into it because they responded below… how could my luggage end up there for so long?… I’ll explain… I was told from the start it could be 8 weeks or more to even get the part… however they said they would check with the manufacturer to check on a warranty first… after 9 weeks and not hearing anything I called to check the status… I was then told “sorry we didn’t call you but the warranty will not cover the part. Do you still want to get it repaired for $65?” I said of course… I was then told it would be another 6-8 weeks to receive the part… I waited 6 weeks and heard nothing so I called and was told they were still waiting. Once it hit almost 6 months I called THEM AND THE MANUFACTURER THE NEXT DAY… they lied! This was the same day I did this review… I am out of town because I travel for a living… but I will certainly be there to pick up my STILL BROKEN suitcase that I’ve been ill informed and lied to about on Monday…

A Los Angeles treasure. This store has been around for over 100 years, albeit in a new location recently. Sales people are highly knowledgeable and helpful. Some of them have been around for decades! Prices are great. When you buy luggage from this store, they will always have your information so that you can get warranty service if required.
