The best care I received at this hospital was provided by the patient techs. Case management was HORRIBLE and certainly didn't keep the patient in mind-just money I'm guessing. I recommend going to Advent. I received WAAAAAAAAAY better care there. The nurses were FANTASTIC and I don't have a bad thing to say about anything there! I will NEVER go back to Halifax. NEVER.

This hospital deserves less than 1 star for how they treated my 75 year old father. He came in with dizziness and he had passed out. I heard the doctor over the phone while he was being examined and they talked very condescendingly to my stepmom and dad. They discharged him without finding out what was actually wrong and sent him home. I told him to stop going to Halifax for anything and if he ever had another emergency to go to AdventHealth where they treat you like a person and not an incovenience.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by someone and I told that person I needed to be seen by a doctor, it was NOT even 4 minutes and I was being treated!!!!!!!
Every person that had treated was AWSOME. I have seen a lot of doctors in my life, but this place seams to be different, I believe the Doctors and Nurses actually care for your wellbeing and truly love helping others. Thank you so much!!!!!
You are all very amazing.

I brought my neighbor to the emergency room. Dropped her off, parked, and went in. I was greeted with airport style search. They stopped me because I had a tiny multitool. I went back to my car and dropped off everything except my phone and wallet. Back in, they scanned my two items. Which took way too long for a phone and wallet. I then grabbed the items and headed to the ER. I was stopped by another guard. I told him I had just dropped off my neighbor at the ER. He ordered me to his desk. I said what now. He replied that I didn't need to be here. That was enough rudness to take. I have never been treated like a criminal. NOTE to administration. Review the video and teach your cops how to be kind, understanding, and assist visitors going to the ER. This experience has tarnished Halifax reputation. By the way, there is something terribly wrong at Halifax seeing the large number of negative reviews

Exceptional care provided here. I been to multiple hospitals with a condition they could not find a reason to. This place did numerous tests and found the underlying cause. Their doctors and nurses were caring and super helpful. They saved my life!

My primary doctor told me to go to the nearest ER and unfortunately it was this place. I have a hemorrhoid problem and for 11 days blood was flowing out during a poop. I lost a lot of blood so my doctor figured I needed a transfusion and remove the hemorrhoid and stop the bleeding. At 3pm I arrived at Halifax and ran my blood test and started the transfusion. I lost a lot of blood. For 6 hours I was in the ER room and got little attention because most of the patients that were brought in like the elderly man next to me yelling help me and 666 over a 100 times were getting the help. They said I had to stay the night and run tests on me. I thought early in the morning they would remove the hemorrhoid and stop the bleeding and I’d be out of there.Lol.At 9am they did a cat scan on me at 11 am a mri. The surgery was set for 1pm but began at 2 because the 1st surgeon left which confused everyone there.3pm I woke up in the hallway and nobody explained to me how it went. They brought me back to the room, then at 3:30 the nurse came in and asked me if anyone spoke to me which I replied no.He looked on the computer and told me that the surgery they put a tube down my throat and a scope up my ass and the surgeon didn’t see any bleeding and didn’t remove the hemorrhoids. After not sleeping for 36 hours and not eating for 30 hours they wanted to try another test.a gi bleed scan that would take 3 hours, I was done I had to get out of there. So they wanted me to sign papers and had a P.O escort me out. I was there for 26 hours and lost track of how many times they took blood from me,had a cat scan a mri a tube down my throat a scope up my ass and I still have hemorrhoids and blood still flows when I poop.

Worst hospital I have ever seen , been sitting here for 2 hours waiting got a nurse to tell me what my father’s diagnosis is. All the staff have attitudes, all they do is let the patients sit in their room. The whole staff on this floor needs to be fired. Never seen such lazy nurses, just sitting around.

Went there with badly infected feet from getting in a fight with an oyster bed and losing. Lol Dr. Daniel Burfield, at Halifax, on Dunlawton, in Port Orange, is one of the few caring doctors I have ever met.. nurses same as most places, some get burned out and Callis, and lose our bedside manner, but the smiling new ones make up for it. Candace on the other hand, she is just a bully. But you get that at any hospital you go to. overall, if it wasn’t for the great care provided by Dr. Burfield, I would have given a bad review, but he took good care of me, and I’m 61 years old, little calluses over myself. Lol.
