As far as buildings set in the natural world go, this medical facility is likely the most beautiful around. I asked nicely, as they’re great trees and I miss California, if I could do some of my walking in and around the parking lot. They said yes after the appointment. Everyone is very kind.

I was scheduled to have an EMG and Nerve Conduction test on 3/10/23. Dr. David Tinklepaugh

The emg was not fully completed due to me having a panic response. The provider then refused to meet with me about the results. In the provider report, it documents that the provider did not fully complete the exam.

The exam was suppose to have two phases.

The initial phase was a nerve conduction on both upper extremities (that was completed in its entirety by an assistant and not the doctor) the second phase of the procedure was suppose to be emg in both arms and paraspinal. There was only an emg in one arm. The paraspinal and the right arm were never completed due to me having a panic attack. I understand why the doctor did not complete the exam. However, the doctor told me he “had all the information he needed” and did not have to continue with the exam. He said this multiple times. I also asked him whether there was any indication of ALS ti which he responded “no.”

The doctor never followed up with me to ask to complete the procedure another time. Further, I was not consulted about whether I wanted another exam. When I reached out via email (my chart plus) for consultation with the doctor about the report, he had gone on vacation. The report said the exam was inconclusive (NOT WHAT HE TOLD ME SEVERAL TIMES). The report also indicated radiculopathy, neuropathy, issues with sensory and motor nerve issues and some problems in my muscles. I was confused which is why I reached out. I was then given a written response by another doctor via email (not adequate) who was not responsible for performing the procedure. I also went in for to speak with Dr Bortan who provided as much information as she could but felt it was necessary to put in a follow up order with Dr Tinklepaugh.

In addition, about two weeks later, due to these disturbing results, I reached back out to the doctor. I asked if he could elaborate on the fact that it was not ALS. Again, he did not respond but had his assistant respond telling me that the exam was inconclusive and, if I was worried about ALS, they would refer me to a specialist. This does not make sense to me. The doctor is a neuromuscular expert and the question was in regards to the findings on the exam that HE conducted. There is no reason besides my inadvertent panic attack (that included me having to lay down and sweating for about 15 minutes and thats it, nothing disruptive at all) that I can think of as to why the doctor is refusing to even respond to my questions.

I then reached out today to tell his office that I would be making a complaint. I provided the reasons why. That was at 7am this morning. The email stated it had been read, but no one responded. I feel like this is neglect of care.

I don’t know if this would be a complaint about the healthcare facility or their financial department. This facility has a new process for physicals. You are not allowed to ask health questions or you will be charged a wellness visit. I signed a paper acknowledging this and went into my appointment making sure I only answered questions. I did not ask any! A few weeks later I am fighting a bill saying I asked a question and have to go through an appeal process in order not to pay a copay. This is outrageous! It’s a small copay but the principal of the matter makes me lose all respect for anything to do with this health care department.

I previously have had positive experiences there. I love my PCP however I had an appt on a Friday for a sinus infection and was told an rx was submitted. 5pm rolls around and the rx was never submitted, and of course they are closed all weekend so now I have to wait until at least Monday to have my rx filled.... wow thanks for that

Left feeling irritated and medically abandoned. Miscommunication between two different employees which lead me to schedule an appointment with a Doctor that is not available. My appointment was then cancelled a week later. I have a serious medical issue that needs to be addressed. Will be going to another practice.
