My experience with Dr. Ferrer began nearly 18 years ago. Dr. Ferrer has been our family physician and has seen my boys grow up and start families of their own. I have seen Dr.Ferrer personally for over a decade. He is very thorough and sometimes a bit methodical. His medical knowledge is above most of the medical professionals I’ve worked with. He’s honest and sometimes very direct. But more importantly, he does listen very carefully to the patient and will ask you to explain yourself about why you want a treatment or medication. I trust him with my life and health and would recommend him to my friends and family.

Now in the past, I have had billing issues and had to go around and around with the billing staff. They can be challenging too. And foe a while I did not go to Dr. Ferrer because of my frustration with the staff. Then I called one day and talked with them and they were apologetic and we were good. Sometimes the office staff can be a little difficult to talk to and don’t seem to care but I know now they do they just need to be reminded sometimes.

I hope this helps anyone if they are reading all the reviews! ❤️

All the bad reviews talks about very specific mistakes related to communication, seeming to forget that you need 2 people to communicate. My appointment was scheduled quickly and Dr. Ferrar was a kind professional. The receptionist has somewhat poor english, but nothing that a few confirmations can't solve. I honestly can't see most of the bad reviews as anything other than people whining

Had an awful first experience. Went a second time, and it went better, as they were able to assist me with a physical that was needed for an international job opportunity. At this point I updated my previous review.

Now, 4 months since my last visit, I received an email stating there are new charges. Unfortanutely for me, I am no longer working at my previous company which provided my health benefits. I am very confused as to why it would take up to 4 months to post additional charges, even after I was charged over $150 for the basic physical. So not only was I already overcharged, but they seem to have posted additional charges more than a quarter of a year later.

Now that I am in Spain, I am unable to get in contact with the office by phone, and have not been able to get in touch with them via email.

Lots of added stress in my life since visiting this facility. I recommend another practice.

Awful! Worst “office manager “Mark”” EVER super disrespectful and rude! They tried to charge me/ my family SEVERAL missed appointment fees; which I left voicemails letting them know I couldn’t make the appointments. Two to be exact, with MORE than 24 hours notice; and they refused to see me, or my child, and refused to refill my prescription for levothyroxine (not an addictive OR controlled substance), prior to me paying over $100 in fees, AND scheduling an appointment! Not happening, too many other providers to choose from, that are FAR more ETHICAL ... Do your research folks. READ the reviews before getting roped into going to this place. They are all about the money, which is the reason they cannot hold on to the GOOD providers, when they get them.

I moved to Colorado 2 years ago and have been a patient here since then. I was not tje happiest with the care but continued to give them a chance. From the beginning I questioned the fact that for a medication that I have been on for 9 years i needed to be seen every 3 months, but continued to do as directed. Then recently was very unhappy with the fact that I dropped half of my medication down the sink and was then denied a refill until seen. Keep in mind this is not a pain medication, sleep medication or any type of controlled substance, and was just seen a month ago. Not only that but would not even give me the remaining amount to last until what would be my next refill date. Super upset. I think they do whatever they can to get money from insurance, and just lost me and my family as patients.

I have been a patient to the Aurora practice and was scheduled to be seen in Highlands Ranch when I called over the weekend to make an appointment for some symptoms that were worrisome. I was glad to be scheduled so quickly that I didn't mind driving down to Highlands Ranch from Denver. When I got there I was told that they weren't sure why they scheduled me at the time that they did because there were other appointments in front of me and that the doctor wasn't even in the building yet this was 10min past the time I was scheduled. The receptionist asked me in front of another patient why I needed to see the doctor as if to say let me see if ita important enough. I rarely write bad reviews but this is the third bad experience I've had with this clinic. I suggest you look elsewhere for your medical care.

Dr. Ferrer is a kind man and a good Doctor. One of the few offices around where you do not feel like cattle being moved through as quickly as possible. Been there for 3 years, many visits, no problems!

I really am not one to write negative reviews and I by no means want to bash Dr. Ferrer or his practice because I had a great experience in my first visit. I only hope that this review brings light to them so that they may improve.

On my second visit I went in for a physical and prior to the visit I was not told that I would need to go somewhere else to get my blood drawn and blood work ran. While that part was not a big deal I believe that there were several communication break downs in the process. I was given a sheet of paper and told to go to the address on the paper. Taking time out of my very busy schedule I drove 30 minutes away and arrived at the LabCorp only to be told that they did not draw blood at that location. When I called back to the office they said “All LabCorp’s should draw blood” as if they weren’t sure where they had sent me. They had to figure some things out and call me back. When they called me back they claimed that they had told me to go to Walgreens and that there was a LabCorp inside. This was never communicated to me. They then placed the blame on me stating that I had left in such a hurry that they could not explain to me where to go when I specifically asked them is this the address? I made sure to clarify before leaving. I was very unhappy with this experience and believe that if they send you somewhere to get blood drawn that they should know where they are sending you. All in all a simple physical would have charged my insurance for 2 separate visits for the day of and the follow up and I wasted a whole lunch period trying to find the place that they had instructed me to go to that they weren’t even familiar with. Based on my first visit I was extremely excited to have found a primary care physician, but after the blood work fiasco I will not be returning.
