I cannot recommend Mark and Javier from HIS Barber Shop in Redlands enough. From the moment we walked in, Mark went above and beyond to connect with my autistic son. He didn’t rush into the haircut; instead, he took the time to build a relationship first. He offered my son candy, toys, and most importantly, comfort, before even getting him in the chair. Mark introduced himself slowly and made sure they both knew each other’s names before starting. His approach was patient, kind, and thoughtful.

When it came time for the haircut, Mark worked quickly yet professionally, showing exceptional skill. My son, who usually struggles with haircuts, was able to sit through the entire session thanks to Mark’s understanding and ability to maneuver through the challenges. The result? The best haircut my son has ever had—hands down. We’ve visited numerous barbershops, and none come close to the experience or quality we received here. This is now our go-to barbershop.

Javier also did an incredible job with our youngest son, who is just one and a half years old. He recognized when Christian needed a break and used the TV, toys, and snacks to keep him calm and entertained. Javier blended his hair beautifully, and Mark even helped keep Christian occupied during the process. The teamwork between them was seamless, making the entire experience stress-free for both of our children.

HIS Barber Shop offers a level of professionalism and genuine care that is hard to find. The shop itself is spotless and decorated with law enforcement patches, which highlights their commitment to the community. On top of their barbering skills, they also offer prayers, reflecting their faith and values, which creates a welcoming and respectful environment.

If you are looking for quality service tailored to each client’s needs, HIS Barber Shop is the place to go. We couldn’t be happier with the care, attention, and professionalism shown by Mark and Javier. We’ve finally found our barbershop, and we’re not going anywhere else! Highly recommend!

Definitely recommends this amazing barber shop! Its was hard finding a place that I can comfortably take my children to and not worry about the conversation among the barbers and the music played. I feel at ease knowing their music selection is kid friendly. Over the years of getting hair cuts there I have grown to know the barbers and they have prayed for me in times of need. The hair cuts are good and I’ve had everyone cut me in there. No specific barber just whoever is open. They all cut great! I’m very happy with their customer service too!

Mark and his team are truly gifted. Anytime I’ve come in, I’ve gotten a great cut, laughs and just a genuinely good experience with these good guys. They really take their time, they know a good cut is important and it shows.

My regular spot is closed on Tuesdays and Im headed out of town Wednesday. So I was scrambling to find a decent cut last minute. Saw this place had above average reviews, so I thought why not. Google maps is 95% accurate to its location. Its between new york pizzeria building and the breakfast shack. Lot parking is minimal, but street parking is available. Walking in I was immediately greeted by owner who was on his way out , but took time to introduce himself and welcome me . Roman called me to his chair and went right to work. He was very professional and the attention to detail was appreciated. Didn't feel rushed and you can tell he has been doing this for a while. Shop itself is quaint and welcoming. Prices are really reasonable also. Will be coming back for sure. Definitely recommend coming here if your in the redlands area! Thanks guys

I can't say enough good things about HIS Barbershop in Redlands. Mark, has created a welcoming and top-notch experience for everyone who walks through the door. Not only is Mark a true professional who gives back to the community, but every barber in the shop is incredibly skilled and genuinely cares about their clients. The atmosphere is always positive and friendly, making it a place I look forward to visiting.

The team goes out of their way to make sure everyone, no matter the age, or background, leaves looking their best.

Mark has 4 employees: Niko, Ana, Roman, and Javier. Not only are they exceptional people, but everyone in the shop is very talented when it comes to styling/fades.

If you're looking for a barbershop where you get great service, a perfect cut, and a sense of community, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

The owner Mark is a great host and will make sure you're taken care of. Prices are reasonable and if work the public service first responder check out their discount days.

I have mixed feeling about my experience! I was told by a local that this shop was friendly and reasonably priced. I went there and didn't expect price to be $30 for what I call just a trim. I should have realized when I only heard a razor buzzing instead of scissors being used, there was going to be something different. I'm a senior age 71 never paid over $20 for a haircut prior to this location. I had heard the prices were around that price is why I didn't question it. After getting out of chair I'm told $30. I normally tip so all I had was $40 . I told Barber to keep it. Haircut was shorter than I wanted! Great conversation and atmosphere. I'm use to scissor cuts and will probably go a different route next time to my former Barber. Even at Morongo Casino I can get a men's $20 Wash and cut!
After I left I check photos to find senior normally pay $18. Not sure what went wrong! Maybe sign for cost of haircut wasn't easily seen from where I was waiting to be seen. In all fairness, I should have asked price first!
