I've been getting the kinky straight weft bundles here for years. Recently they've increased their kinky stright prices for the cuticle R so I opted for the 50% italian mink which I would not recommend. The hair only looked nice the first time it was styled and due to the excessive amount of shedding and tangling I can not even reuse it. Will never get the 50% mink again. Truly sad to spend over $500 on hair that can not even be reused more than once.

Bad experience: I’m handicap, been purchasing wigs from them for years two wigs or more, if I got to standup and try on a wigs near the front door and point to a wig something is wrong, you have security at the door I understand that! I came a long way not to purchase nothing if this way you treat your loyal customers. You need to learn customer service or close down!!!!! Period no more?

This business advertises their goddess loc kit as 100% human hair which is false. Product free, pre-washed and conditioned, this hair napped up embarrassingly. Had to cut it out my head and apply Amazon hair which actually is 100% human because it isn’t napping up. I’m insulted and feel ripped off after spending about $850 on a human/synthetic blend kit + extra bundle. Will spread the word to stylists to no longer recommend this brand. I’ve attached a photo of a 2 week wear. This was a wavy strand that tangled horribly smh. If you stand by your brand, please reach out and make this right.

I have been a long-standing patron of His & Hers for over three decades. I regularly purchase their premium hand-tied hair bundles, each costing close to $500 for a set of eight pieces. Several months ago, I acquired two bundles of hair, and to my disappointment, the quality was subpar. The hair, instead of the expected off-black shade, had a reddish-brown hue, and its texture resembled wire. During the weaving process, my experienced beautician observed tangling issues when removing the hair from its packaging, and the hair proved difficult to comb once integrated into my weave.

My beautician, with over 35 years of experience, expressed skepticism about the hair being 100% human or suspecting it contained numerous additives. When I contacted His & Hers to voice my concerns, their response was dismissive, attributing the hair's poor quality to the practices of those whose hair it was sourced from, implying that perms had damaged it. This explanation is unsatisfactory for two primary reasons: first, His & Hers charges exorbitant prices, exceeding $500 for hand-tied bundles, and second, it is essential to uphold American advertising standards, which prohibit the sale of products that do not meet promised quality and standards. Blaming overseas practices for this issue is unacceptable.

His & Hers failed to offer any form of refund or alternative resolution, only insisting that overseas individuals damage their hair by seeking to emulate American styles. If this is genuinely the case, His & Hers should cease acquiring damaged hair and marketing it as high-quality. I am now contemplating sending a sample of the hair to a laboratory for testing to verify if it is indeed 100% human hair because it neither appears nor feels like the high-quality hair I previously received from His & Hers. When wet, the hair takes on a wire-like texture, raising suspicions that it may contain synthetic components.

I have attached a photograph of the purchased hair to illustrate the reddish-brown hue it displays, despite being advertised as off-black. The hair exhibits qualities such as brittleness, tangling, and shedding that are inconsistent with genuine human hair. This situation is truly disheartening. I will keep you informed about the results of the hair testing.

Could anyone kindly provide recommendations for reputable sources of high-quality hair products?

Paid human hair prices for hair that, in my opinion, doesn’t feel that way. That’s just my opinion after using hair extensions, weaves, and braids for decades. I’ve never experienced 100% human hair that tangles so horribly and feels hard and stringy. This hair has lasted me a week before becoming unmanageable.
It’s incredibly upsetting to pay so much, follow the instructions they gave exactly, and still have hair that looks and acts like a birds nest. Calling and speaking to them is useless, as they reiterate the same thing over and over.
Ps. If you can catch them before the company deletes them, there are PLENTY of comments stating this exact thing on their Instagram page.

Horrible!!!!! I spent close to $500 on European wavy hair. This was a tangly mess. My client could barely run her fingers through this hair with out getting caught. I’ve always known his and hers quality was not that great but decided to try anyway hoping it’s gotten better. What a mistake. I will not be coming back. This hair can’t be 100% human hair. Feels synthetic. After an entire install I’m So disappointed and feel bad for my client. Because I stand behind my work I will have to eat the cost and replace her hair with quality hair.
