We were thrilled to be able to get in to see this exhibit with a private tour. It was a last minute birthday surprise and Sally and Jim made it very special.
This museum is full of eye opening history more people should witness in person.

This museum just keeps getting better. The displays are impressive and the tours are comprehensive and interesting. Ashtabula has a fascinating history with the Underground Railroad and this is the best place to hear about it. Highly recommended.

This is the best museum I have been to depicting African American history and is on par with the African American history museum in DC, while not as big, this museum just as jam packaged with knowledge as the museum in DC. Our family didn't know that we had to make an appointment prior and we just showed up and the staff gave us a tour anyway. staff was friendly 10/10 can't wait for the basement to open also the Ashtabula maritime museum is just a short walk down the road .

Very informative. Very interesting info about the 2 drums. Nice history about the family and all that they did and went through to help. A lot of curiosity was satisfied for all ages, but still more curiosity was peaked.
