Up front thought they were a good bunch of guys that could paint and be professional. Our bid included touchup work following drywall repairs for new construction house. Final payment was paid when initial work was finished, I didn't wait for the touch up. My mistake. They did come back to do touch up, but used semi gloss where there was flat, didn't do all the outside touch up and when I reached out, Josh told me one of them would be by to take care of it. Two texts later no one showed up and never responded again. Also starting to have doubts they did a full two coats on outside and inside now that I'm living in the house, way too much shadowing and some bare spots on the siding outside. Overall disappointed.
Update: after my Google review Josh reached out to me to make this right. That was in April. After several attempts to figure out when they would come over, on June 24th they finally arrived. Only to be after we had new gutters installed so I requested them not get paint on the new gutters. All the roof eaves needed painting again so that was my only request, not to get paint on my new gutters. They didn't tape or prep anything, just rolled the flat parts of the eaves and still managed to get paint on my gutters. I also am disappointed that the eaves needed more paint. In less then a year bad black staining coming through on all the eaves. It was bare wood initially and for work that they warranty, I was never told there was bare wood or suggested that bare wood be primed first. Only two coats of paint for bare wood in a rainy state like Oregon. I understand if for cost purposes a customer opts not to prime first, but to not educate the customer of the best ways to protect a large investment like a new home, does not rise to a five star company. Also a five star company doesn't write their own five star Google reviews to boost their rating. I hope they can learn from this and become a five star company, but they didn't earn any more stars from this customer. Following through and educating is really all it is about.
Last update: after discussion with Josh, some of this issues stem from difficulty with my builder, which I can relate to. Given that I understand some of the issues so I did increase the star rating, as they did work late and put in hours on my house. The lack of follow through after the fact coupled with now all his employees and family are five staring his business which is highly unethical, it is only 1 star more not 2.
