Brookville, MD is a charming little town with gorgeous old homes. President James Madison spent a night there when he fled Washington as the White House was burning.

Great experience at the History Center. Awesome exhibit rooms and lots of information! Train room, the Parlor, and the Abbie Neal history were a favorite of mine.

Bill Mccracken, 98 year old historian. Alot of history. First international flight pilot from this small town in Brookville oa. Rebuilt Twymotor car from 1908. Open one saturday a month.

A large variety of exhibits for every age group. Something interesting to see or do for everyone. Our group ranged in age from 7 weeks to 85 years. Most impressively was the lift chair so each display was accessible for even our limited mobility grandfather. I would highly recommend to anybody who is looking for something to explore. Added bonus: it was by donation only for entry.

A great little museum. Handicapped accessible with a stair lift for the stairs. Big model train exhibit. Lots of fossils. Worth a visit!

We enjoyed the by donation tour of the museum. A lot of interesting things happened in the area and we enjoyed reading about them and seeing some artifacts.
