John helped me with a new kitchen and master bath/bedroom after a tree had crashed through our kitchen ceiling. John immediately rolled up his sleeves to help us tackle our huge project. He went with me to Fairfield Board of Appeals for the plans approval, and was with me during every facet of the approval process. We have an antique house, and John met with me many times to make sure he understood what I wanted out of the new space, and how I wanted to utilize the space to its fullest usage. Having an antique house from 1733 presented a unique set of challenges, and John was very clever and creative to keep the feel of the house as seamless and possible and at the same time integrating 21st century elements that were understated and unobtrusive. He knew a large closet in the new master bedroom would put a smile on my face! We talked about revealing the original beams that had been behind Sheetrock to highlight and celebrate the age of the house.
John is organized, professional and great to work with! He always makes you feel important and responds very quickly to any and all questions you may have. He also meets with your contractors and makes you feel like you are all on a cohesive team. He checks in to make sure there aren’t any problems during the construction phase so you don’t feel like you’re going it alone.
