Surgery went well, but motrin and tylenol are not enough pain control for a tonsillectomy. My poor baby has been screaming if we don't wake him up every 3 hours to give him meds and sometimes even before then. He is nonverbal and screaming and crying is his only way of communication. Screaming and crying only makes what already hurts even more. Wish I would have known before we made the decision to do surgery or we definitely would not have tortured him like this.

My son had ear tubes placed several years ago by another doctor, but they have since fallen out, and he started experiencing frequent ear infections again.

On 4/27/2023, I took my son for a consultation with Dr. Kenneth Lee. When Dr. Lee walked into the room, we explained the reason for our visit. Without even examining my son, he said that he'd need another set of tubes.' He then started looking at the results of a hearing test that had been conducted two weeks prior—results he hadn’t reviewed before entering the room—and only afterward did he examine my son.

We were dissatisfied with his bedside manner and decided not to pursue treatment with Dr. Lee. The entire appointment lasted no more than 15 minutes.

If that had been the end of it, I wouldn’t be leaving this 1-star review.

However, a few weeks later, we received a bill that included a $688 charge for 'New/Est patient consult 40 or more minutes' (code 99244). This was inaccurate, as the visit lasted no more than 15 minutes.

We contacted Children's Health (UT Southwestern) to dispute the charge. After 1.5 years of back-and-forth, we received a letter on 12/8/2024 from their 'Vice President of Clinical Operations,' stating that everything was billed correctly.

This is overbilling both me and my insurance.

I would not recommend this doctor for anyone’s child. Bedside manner is terrible for the very short time that you see him. Seems as if he does not care about what is going on with your kid. There are much better doctors in the metroplex. Pay attention to the other bad reviews even on other websites, they’re very accurate.
