My wife and I just had our baby girl delivered at lake health district. Ill say we have been to 3 other hospitals, much bigger, more staff and more equipment but not one stands up even remotely close to this hospital. The place is clean, welcoming and the most amazing staff! I've been kicked out of almost ever other place because I won't stand for them treating my wife in any way disrespectful that was never the case here. Dr. Tucker is a no nonsense doctor that knows what she's doing and just gets it done! Our amazing R/Ns Michelle and Margaret are just the absolute best! We couldn't have felt more at home in our home!! Oh and also the night staff aswell one gentleman in particular was so awesome to talk with, super helpful!! I wish I could give more then just 5 stars this place deserves 10!!

I've been there on a few occasions and some of my family members had emergencies as well.
They're very respectful and I feel like they take excellent care of their patients and as quickly as possible.
It feels as if they truely care for their patients.

Went here with my wife for her appointment. I'm sitting in the seating area. A bunch of staff congregating around the coffee cart. Apparently vibrators, one of them having a boy, and someone laughing about intentionally missing a staff meeting was the topic amongst other stuff. It being a small town hospital. I already had low expectations of professionalism. Due to previous experiences with small town businesses. You would think that certain conversations that include men not being someones type, vibrators and essentially saying mandatory meetings are a waste of time is the culture here. Glad this was not a life and death appointments, who knows what kind of care my wife would receive. I'll be sure to take her somewhere else from now own.

Don't go if your sick. Don't go seeking a job. The unprofessionalism in this hospital is ridiculous. Nurses and doctors talking shit about patients. Then doing bare minimum to nothing to help each patient. This is a band-aid station not a hospital. It will only be a matter of time before terrible leadership forces it close. If you're looking for a job definitely do not recommend this place. You will be treated lower than dirt from anyone and everyone you meet. You will find your self in drama even if you don't go looking for it.

This place is ridiculous. An MA directly told me that there's been multiple complaints about people not receiving phone calls, or voicemails from the doctor's office, which makes things complicated when trying to figure out test results. After we talked about it, she tried to call me back about tests, but she said the call wouldn't go through, and she had to use an alternative phone to get ahold of me and that line for whatever reason worked. I'm clearly not the only one experiencing communication issues from them, yet they try to act like the patients are at fault, and do nothing to fix the problem. You'll also get different answers from everyone you talk to about anything while trying to get results from tests, or answers about appointments. This place is disorganized, unprofessional, and the attitude you receive from trying to navigate THEIR CHAOS is insane. I even caught attitude from the ER staff for taking my CHILD to the emergency room per recommendation from an MA based on test results and symptoms. They flat out said "MAs always tell people to go to the ER when they don't have answers". Incredibly rude, and they don't take you seriously whatsoever ESPECIALLY if you have a certain medical insurance. This hospital suits the rest of this town and all the corruption. I wouldn't be surprised if they get sued, or already have been sued for negligence.

I have had a mammogram and an MRI in the last 3 weeks at Lake District Hospital and both experiences were top notch. The new mammogram machine took the discomfort out of having the test done and Rebecca is absolutely the best at what she does. I have claustrophobia so getting an MRI is not easy for me, but, the techs were really understanding and they helped me through it, and were very kind and patient. I would definitely recommend having either of these tests done at Lake District Hospital. ❤

I recently took a family member into the ER due to a suspected hernia with acute pain in the abdomen/naval area. I was absolutely shocked by the callous and obtuse behavior of Lesa Cahill who was working that evening. The substandard care was equally offensive; she essentially berated my family member by being needlessly condescending while conducting the initial interview, implying that coming to the ER for a possible hernia is wasting her time and seemingly offensive to her.. it was bizarre. She didn’t conduct much of an assessment or even look at the herniated area until I had to unfortunately “voice my opinion” in an attempt to guide and salvage the exam. Minuscule advice was given other than: “People live with hernias for years!” and “I can’t even feel your hernia, it shouldn’t hurt this bad!”

I’m not a doctor, nor do I work in the medical field; but it seems to me acute pain in a concentrated area of the abdomen (especially when “it shouldn’t hurt this bad”) should be a serious cause for concern and likely needs to be further explored, possibly immediately. Instead of any actual evaluation, diagnosis, tangible advice, treatment plan, or referral that evening it could wait until they saw Lesa in the next couple of days at her already unrelated scheduled appointment (Lesa is also her primary care provider). What was the point of even going to the ER? What would have happened if it wasn’t a hernia and something serious occurred before she could be referred for a scan and/or surgery? It just would have went undiagnosed with potentially very serious consequences; I suppose that doesn’t concern Lesa or Lake District Hospital, yet it really should.

I haven’t personally had many medical problems but I have been to plenty of doctors over the course of my life and have never witnessed something like this. Based on my observation I sincerely hope we (and you reading this for that matter) never need to be under her care again. We have had some positive experiences, specifically with Dr. Gallagher; this visit unfortunately overshadowed them all… Lesa will no longer be her primary care provider after this and for good reason.
