My husband and I were vacationing here and he had a really bad sore throat that I thought was strep. Where are from Urgent cares/Walk-Ins aren’t the best, but we knew we were gonna have to go to one. We came in and were immediately shocked with how clean and well maintained this facility was. We came in 10 minutes before close and they were so kind and still took us. From the woman who checked us in, to the nurse who did the vitals and the doctor everyone was so kind and helpful. This place is absolutely amazing and I wish we had one like this back home! Travelers- come here!!

I walked in when a sudden onset of pneumonia on January 27 caused me to have 105 fever and oxygen percentage of 87%. I could barely walk. I begged the receptionist to see a doctor but was flat out refused and turned away. I barely managed to make it to a hospital in FtMywrs where I was immediately admitted for nine days. Lee Health not
only failed their mission terribly but could have been the end of me. The receptionist could not have been worse, unsympathetic, cold, unable to recognize the emergency. This is NOT a walk in clinic!

I was so impressed from the receptionist, who was amiable and efficient, to Kirk, the kind and friendly person who put me at ease as a first time visitor and took my vitals , to Dr. Basuro, who impressed me with her ability to listen closely to me and come up with ways to alleviate my symptoms. She explained her diagnosis and prescribed meds that I filled after the appointment. I highly recommend this clinic for truly excellent caregiving.

This office is wonderful. Everyone here is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Olson-Basora genuinely cares for her patients, and is extremely knowledgeable.

Kirk is an excellent PA who has never failed to put a smile on my face. His lighthearted humor makes visiting this office a pleasant experience. He is also a true professional who takes patient care seriously.

Truly an all-star team.

This is now the third time I have had an appointment and left because I was left sitting there, not sure why, no one comes out and tells you there is a delay and why. The past 2 times I had to leave after making an appointment and sitting in the waiting room for over an hour, they had taken walk in’s ahead of people with appointments. So I waited 40 minutes today, there was only one other person in the waiting room, her appointment was 20 minutes before mine. I asked how much longer, about 10 -15 minutes. Because my time isn’t valuable. Don’t bother with this place until they get their act together- whether they are overbooking or just taking walk ins with no regard for those with appointments, unless you have hours to waste this is a hard pass.

If I were a full time resident on Sanibel this would be where I would like to have my pcp. From the front desk to talking to Kirk to seeing Dr. Basaro (my apologies if I misspelled or got her name wrong) every aspect of my visit there was a very good experience. Even though my complaint was not about my Afib she took interest in it and listened to my heart and lungs to make sure all was okay. If you are visiting Sanibel and have a medical problem arise I would highly recommend going there.

We are Sanibel vacationers. My elderly mother and my sister had two different issues that needed medical attention. We were seen promptly, and Dr Olson-Basora was very competent and thorough. Staff was super helpful and courteous. I was so relieved that my family was able to get the care they needed at such an urgent time.

The entire team is the best care in the entire region! The front office is helpful, the nursing and PAs are great... The island is celebrating the addition to the community Danielle Olson-Basora MD she is amazing.
