Libbey's Meat Market

Not just a meat market! On top of an incredible meat selection they have a limited but excellent selection of sides, veggies, eggs, dairy, and even some really good local roasted coffee. Yummmm! UPDATE: they made it through the most recent flood (Jul-Aug '24). Please go support! They are incredible. You can taste the love and care in everything they make. Just cooked up some pork pepper and onion sausage and it's so delicious!!!

I have driven by this place many times but finally went in last weekend. I was amazed. There was a great selection of meats, cooked, frozen and fresh cut. They have it all. I picked pork sausage, chicken sausage, chicken thighs and burger. They were all delicious and high quality. Next time I go I plan to bring a bigger cooler and stock my freezer.

Purchased ground chuck today, immediately noticed the spoiled odor when pulling apart in bowl to mix with other ingredients. Apparently they mixed older brown with fresh ground chuck on top. I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation to purchase fresh meat at full price from a butcher. Very disappointed. Disposed of the meat and will not be back.

Every time we come to the area we always make an effort to swing by and grab some BBQ and pickled veggies. This unassuming shop makes quality smoked meats such as ribs, brisket, and wings, paired with amazing BBQ sauces. Having been to many BBQ joints down south I’ve found myself to be typically picky when it comes to smoked meats, but we enjoy this place enough to even purchase a shirt! The only downside to Libby’s is that it’s not KTA accessible, otherwise I’d be planning MTB rides specifically to stop here for lunch.

Excellent selection, friendly staff and quality meat and ready made foods. Pork chops are fresh and delicious. Maple baked beans are worth the trip don’t forget them !

Delicious fresh meats, several frozen and gluten free sausage choices, fresh seafood including scallops, and cooked food ready to eat, freshly smoked pulled pork which was absolutely amazing after skiing ... They also have beautiful fresh vegetables including fresh spinach and broccoli, ... An amazing store to fulfill all of your needs to prepare an amazing meal!

I come from a long way DC metro area, each time I visit my bf’s family up there in Vermont, I always bring back some of their sausages, marinated beef and pork packages. Jesus one time you try the meat here, there is no other meat from any other stores can compare. Staffs are so cute, friendly and welcoming. I love the fact the meat processing room is designed with big windows, then I can see how the meat is being processed, cut and treated. It’s clean and it’s definitely a big big plus to me. I don’t really write review unless the store or service is really amazing. And I’m amazed with the meat quality here. This place deserve 5 stars for their products and service. I am looking forward to getting more stuffs from you guys again when I come back.
