Ubicado en el separador central dividiendo la avenida Albany en dos partes, está este árbol de los amantes que es una atracción para todos los turistas que visitan Brunswick, es el sitio idóneo para tirarse una foto.

Never been in Brunswick before, so dropped off the interstate and drove around to see the town. Found this Lovers Oak on the map, so stopped to check it out. What an impressive tree. It was so huge it was hard to imagine the age. Driving around seen many other huge trees. Glad we made the stop here to get a picture.

Nice oak but has been trimmed (I’m sure out of necessity) compromising its natural grace.

This tree is amazing, but the people took better care of it in 1920 than they are now. Back then, it was surrounded by grass and a lovely fence. Its roots had lots of room to grow. Now it is surrounded by cement roads on three sides which will eventually kill it from compaction and lack of nutrients. For a landmark that was here when our country was formed, it is not being treated like one. If you want to see it, u reverend coming soon. It won't be around long at this rate.

This is one of those quirky local attractions that are usually worth checking out. It's in the middle of a residential street. We parked on the street right next to it. It's definitely an impressive tree and the story behind it is interesting. Check the images for pictures of a placard they have near the tree.
