I called ahead to confirm that Main Line Health Urgent Care in Exton was open and accepting patients. I was told they were and was encouraged to come in. I arrived with nearly an hour remaining before closing, only to be informed at the front desk that they were “at capacity” and would not see me.

I politely asked the receptionist to confirm this with the staff, hoping for flexibility. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, a nurse came out and informed me that the PA had declined to see me—without exception.

By this time, it was too late to seek care elsewhere.

This experience reflects a serious flaw in the clinic’s communication system. If a facility is at capacity, callers should be informed before making the effort to travel. Patients deserve accurate, real-time information to make appropriate decisions about where to go for care—not to have their time wasted and needs dismissed at the door.

Went to UC at Exton close to work, I was questioning my choices by going to Exton with the 10 min wait verses Concordville with the 1.5hr wait, until I met the provider at UC. Dr. Jennifer Campbell.. She was amazing, professional, highly compassionate. She treated me with complete care, I was taken aback at HOW professional she was. She was right on the mark with communication, planning, escorted me for a chest X-ray, when I was done, she came back out and took me to an exam room to complete a breathing treatment, she documented, reviewed mychart, she spoke to my past visit with my primary. I work down the road at CCP of PA. My entire office is sick, she was thorough, dedicated, sent my scripts in before my treatment was over, she came reviewed, rechecked my breathing. all touch points, all shown with genuine care - I have to say, I wish she was an option for a primary care provider. I was told by the adorable new MA that Dr. Campbell's partner for the day was the same level of professionalism and care. I would give (5) stars to the staff from check in to Xray, Xray in and out in 15 minutes, Radiologist reading while I finished my treatment. Planning on the part of staff. Staff (10 stars). The office setting, Mainline come on do better. Bathroom was dirty and toilets were clogged, blood on the rug by the UC seats. Nothing was wiped down until I got to the back end with the MAs. If I would have judged the office according to the waiting room, I would have left. The security guards were sitting around, unkempt. Until the 1st staff member check in, came to get me, I was second in line. As I was really going to leave and head to Concordville, this gentlemen came to me, escorted me to his work station to check me in, I was curious. New method. He was fantastic, professional, understood I had no voice could not talk and worked with me. Never once did he look frustrated. He listed. So I stayed. I am so glad I did. Between PCR check in, MA adorable new hire, there 1 month. We laughed, she laughed, and Dr. Campbell. I just cannot say enough on the "PEOPLE" at this UC. So instead of judging a book by the cover, I trusted in the gentleman at the front desk (I apologize I do not know your name, the Xray tech or my wonderful MA, but you all made this very very sick patient feel cared about! You made a difference. Mainline is lucky to have you employees. Would I go again, if the same people are there - I will. Mainline do better, clean that waiting room! Your staff deserve to be seen as they truly are, excellent!!!!

Absolutely disgraceful experience at Main Line Health in Exton.

I was just turned away from my scheduled MRI because my prescription didn’t specify which foot — something that could’ve been flagged days ago when they confirmed the appointment. Instead, I wasted time and energy getting there, only to be met with rudeness and zero accountability.

This location has been a nightmare to work with from the start — disorganized, severely understaffed, and completely lacking in basic communication. No manager on site, no one with decision-making authority, and certainly no sense of urgency or compassion for patients.

The staff I interacted with were dismissive, uninformed, and frankly unprofessional. I left with no imaging done, no reschedule, and no confidence in this facility whatsoever. Main Line should be embarrassed to have their name on this place.

Tried to make an MRI appointment online and found it difficult, So I decided to go in and have someone help me. Watched several people in this location doing nothing. But , helping me was way too much work for this team. Laziness is obviously accepted here.

I have been here numerous times for routine mammograms, and for one that I needed an ultrasound. That was a nerve wracking appointment, as I ended up getting a referral for a biopsy. The radiologist came in and talked to me, explained what she saw and why she was sending me to have more testing done, and she was so comforting. It ended up being nothing, thank goodness. I recently was back for my yearly follow up, and the same tech, Tish, that did my mammogram the year before, was the tech again. She is phenomenal. Friendly, caring, and efficient. I will never go anywhere else for a mammogram. There's something to be said for a group of women who support one another, and I get that feeling here.

I don’t get irritated easily or frustrated but here is my dilemma with this location.

Little frustrated with the service received at this location. I was in Wednesday evening due to ear ache with trouble swallowing food and liquid (right side of face). Received a throat test, Covid test, and strep test all came back negative and normal.

I was told there was some fluid in my ear when I was evaluated Wednesday night at 830pm, but nothing to be concerned about from being told. But am concerned because I have ache and pain in my throat and ache in my right ear. That said I was then told that prescription would be called in (magic mouthwash) in which I still have yet to receive some sort of treatment three days later of anything.

Have no problem charging my insurance but can’t seem to give me any medicine to help for anything and tell me I need to come back in and be re-evaluated. Re-evaluated for what..? I was just there Wednesday for evaluation and didn’t do anything to help so you are going to give me the same customer service?

Do they just give doctorate degrees to anyone since the “dr” doesn’t have an answer, no solution, no
Idea, and told me I should go to my primary doctor since they recommended me being reevaluate by them (main line heath Exton) if I didn’t want to go to my primary doctor.

Very sad that this place is 0 help. Don’t expect any help or any good information from this place. They’ve done nothing but run insurance and waste my time giving false promise and assistance.

I was seen in urgent care due to having sinus infection for a week. The same female doctor there my daughter saw previously when she sprang her ankle she wasn’t very kind I was definitely not impressed at all she came in I explained I have been having issues with my sinus I think I have an infection mind you I always end up with sinusitis which I always need an antibiotic. She said I will give you an inhaler and cough pills. Fast forward 3 days later after I told her it will get worse if I’m not put on an antibiotic. So today my husband calls and leaves a message with the staff at 11:00 am they state they will call us back never did now it’s closed. I will NEVER GO BACK there again. The doctor acts like she doesn’t want to be bothered. Unreal.

I thought I would have to wait a long time since it was a Sunday afternoon, but I was checked in immediately. I only waited a few min to be brought back by a nurse and everything including X-rays went quickly. Everyone was caring and empathic. I'm definitely glad we went here instead of the ER. I was in and out within an hour.
