Do not go here for women's health services!!!

The first time I went, I was "helped" by one of the nurses, Bernice, who flat out didn't put down my correct medical history because she didn't think I could have actually been diagnosed with one of my conditions. When I saw Kristen Mosely, PA I first thought she was empathetic to her patients, however what happened next proved that to be untrue.

The following month I made an appointment for vaccine services and was told by Heidi at the front desk that I could just see a nurse and did not have to make an appointment for the PA. When I came in for the vaccine, they said it wasn't recommended but they would "go ahead and give it to me anyway" which right away should have clued me in to how incompetent these practitioners are.
Well, I had a bad reaction which caused a lot of physical problems as well as absolute terror on my part because I had no idea what was happening to my own body. After calling multiple times I was able to speak to a nurse, Bernice again, and she told me "the vaccine wouldn't do that," completely dismissing my concerns. I was scared, having a major health issue, and her advice was just to wait it out- no other recommendations. I called again and again and asked to speak with the the PA directly. Trying to get anyone on the phone is next to impossible; I had to keep leaving messages and hope they would call me back.

When I was finally able to get in touch with Kirsten, she pushed the blame onto me because I didn't make an appointment to discuss the vaccine prior to coming in (which again, I was told I didn't have to do) and once again their office completely denied that the vaccine would cause the type of reaction I was having. Turns out, the side effects I experienced aren't uncommon and are a known issue, which I only found out after doing some investigation on my own because this office refused to help.
Almost four weeks later and I'm still having problems, however I refuse to go back because of the appalling lack of care or concern they showed during my medical crisis.

On top of that, I needed some routine testing done and was asked to give a urine sample. I had to give it three times!! The first two weren't viable due to the sample cups this office provided, however I was still charged for each test.

Do better and do right by your patients! When someone says they are having a medical problem, try to help them instead of brushing it off because you lack the knowledge or experience, and definitely don't blame the person you took an oath to help!

$512 billed to my insurance for a 45-minute new patient appointment to see the Physician's Assistant for a stomach ache. $204 for 2 blood tests. The office is run down, and people very rarely call you back. Never bothered to check my old CT scan to see that I had a kidney stone, and when I asked if I could just do a new urine sample, so I didn't have to pay another $500 to talk to the Physician's Assistant, (not even the actual MD) no one bothered to call back. Had previous issues where we attempted to schedule with Dr. Gragg, and they still scheduled you to see the PA instead.

EDIT: they left a comment urging me to call in and speak with the practice manager, I called almost 2 weeks ago and left a message and never heard back. I shouldn’t have expected anything more from this office. Pitiful.

Decent medical care, but they'll hold your prescriptions hostage if you don't come in for a visit, and of course pay them them for the visit. They actually took the time to call the pharmacy and cancel a prescription but didn't tell me or call me to schedule a routine visit. I always go in for my annual checkup, but only 8 months after my last check up, they needed me to come in again for my annual checkup before the perscription could be renewed. I'm not naive, I know it's a business but feel like they could have done better taking care of me instead of focusing so heavily on the bottom line.

I am extremely concerned about my messages not getting to Dr. Ware. How can he help me if he is not told that I am sick? I have another appointment now with him to go over this serious problem. Though I saw him LAST WEEK and he detected some pneumonia on my left side and told me he was calling in also an antibiotic, I didn't receive it because it was called in at a later time
(just picked it up) which I wasn't told and so my lung infection has gotten severely worse the past 6 SIX DAYS. Over the weekend I was coughing up more and more green yuck (infection) as to when I saw him last Tuesday I was not doing that. My first conversation with a staff member who finally returned my call the WEEK BEFORE (7 minute phone call) I told her I needed help before this mess turned into pneumonia and I had called the day before and that day telling them exactly what was wrong and during this 7 minute (unacceptable) phone call she tells me that if I WANT, SHE CAN SEND A MESSAGE TO
Dr. Ware AND LET HIM KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON AND I SAID,
"YOU HAVEN'T TOLD HIM?!"
WHY I HAVE HAD TO INSIST FOR AN APPOINTMENT AND FOR HIS NURSE OR WHOEVER THIS PERSON IS FOR 7 MINUTES BEGGING HER TO TELL MY DOCTOR WHAT IS GOING ON WITH AN URGENT MEDICAL PROBLEM I NEED HIM TO KNOW ABOUT IS TRULY UNACCEPTABLE.
I am upset because here I am 6 days after seeing him, going without the antibiotic and my condition has only gotten WORSE! NOW I AM REALLY WONDERING HOW MUCH PNEUMONIA HAS SETTLED IN MY LUNGS!
NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE SHOULD OR HAS THE AUTHORITY TO DECIDED WHAT PATIENT MESSAGES WILL BE SENT TO YOUR DOCTOR!
AND NO ONE HAS THE AUTHORITY TO STAND BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR DOCTOR'S COMMUNICATION AT "ANY" TIME.
I do need to add THIS, FINALLY WHEN I GOT THE STAFF MEMBER TO SEND A MESSAGE TO Dr. Ware, WITHIN AN HOUR Dr.Ware CALLED IN 5 (FIVE) PERSCRIPTIONS TO START MY TREATMENT.
Dr. Ware is a very good, professional and caring doctor and he ALWAYS goes the extra mile for his patients.
I only wish his staff were like him.

Kathleen Hall,NP is the most caring Medical professional I have EVER encountered and I’ve seen a lot! She took time to understand and go through my history with me and she LISTENED. I have never left a doctors office happy until now! I highly recommend her and we need many more like her!
