I have never been spoken to by someone so rude as Harlene.

Michael was the nurse/pa who took my vitals and was so professional and sincere, and caring, Dr. Jackson is amazing, exactly what you expect when you are coming for healthcare . the office staff at Millenium are wonderful, But in calling to clarify a medication prescription I had to speak with Harlene who was rude, insulting, short tempered, and spoke to me like I was wasting her time, and then disconnected the call with no closing, the call simply ended. I called to clarify the medication plan, I spoke with Holly who was professional and empathetic, I was afraid that by calling to ask these questions that I might be wasting someone’s time, and she assured me that as a patient, I am the focus and that the doctor would want me to be completely informed and confident in the plan, and that it would never be a waste as Millenium Physician Group cares about all of their patients. How unfortunate that Harlene is so very unprofessional. The level of rudeness and aggression was so disproportionate that I am left in shock.

I am very happy with Dr. Rog and his staff. Holly is very helpful with insurance and referrals. I highly recommend this office for military and retired vet families in the Brandon, Lithia, Valrico area needing a PCM.

My daughter went here this morning (her first visit). Everyone was excellent and took good care of her. My daughter was able to get everything she needed done to include getting a referral to a specialist. The office itself is very clean and nice as well.

Recently for the first time ever I got insurance through my job and went here because someone from work recommended it. Do not waste your time. I was seen by Yvonne braver twice. The first time she thought I had long-term covid or fibromyalgia. I asked well. What kind of testing do you do? Oh there's no testing for it and there's no cure for fibromyalgia. I Said well I'd like to know the root cause of why I feel so bad. She said well if the pill works what's it matter... I also told her about my blood pressure has been bothering me. I had it measured and written out. She said well let's just keep an eye on it. I said no. I need some kind of medication. She denied it. A few months later I was diagnosed with cervical cancer and had a radical hysterectomy, at my next checkup with braver I had to tell them about it because they had no information. I had to give them all my pathology reports to copy. I still asked about blood pressure medicine to which the male student or doctor whoever he was said. Oh you have to document it and then we'll go from there. I said I already have 3 months ago when I was here. I'm not leaving without medication today. He said okay no problem. I was then charged $250 for 1 one medication and giving them all the paperwork to copy. I asked the billing department why I was charged and they told me I had gone over my doctor visits to the year ..to which I feel like I should have been notified about that at the check in. . At the end of the appointment she referred me to a psychologist that doesn't even take my insurance.
I see now why people give up and don't bother going to the doctor's. I'd also like to add today a few months later after visiting this office, It took them 3 months to email me back and call me about setting up a payment plan. They told me how they can do financial aid. I filled out the paperwork, sent it off a week later they sent me to collections....

incompetent staff and uncaring doctors. this place is as corporate and corrupt as they come. this place is a money grab plain an simple. it's taken them nearly a week to fax over a prescription. EVERY time you call them the want to charge you to make an appointment.

Millennium Physicians Group has become so corporatized it's hard to feel like a person. Their phone systems are abominable...fully automated and more than impossible to navigate. Sadly, just like the rest of corporate America.
11/1/24 ---Had to "sign in" for another appointment and had to request a text message code. It never came and I was locked out. This corporation continues to ignore requests for more personal service. How many times does one have to resubmit the same info? Been a patient there for 15+ years. It's absurd.

Dr Irshad is awesome. I've been seeing her for a few years. She's always patient with me, answers all of my questions at visits, and makes me feel like a human. I am able to make an appointment easily. The employees that greet me at the front and upon exit are always nice. I'm taken back to a room rather quickly and don't wait long to see the doctor once in a room. The last time I got blood work done I accidentally showed up on the wrong day and they still saw me! I was in and out in a few minutes and the results were on the portal super fast too. I can't recommend enough!
