My homeschool group had a tour of this fabulous museum today, and I can’t recommend it enough! The docents were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating to our group, and we all learned so much about the Moulton family, their pioneer spirit, and the beginnings of south OC. They museum has a nice assortment of artifacts from the Moulton Ranch, as well as a gallery of Nellie Gail’s paintings. Go check them out on Tuesdays when they are open to the public, or schedule a tour!

Walked in just before closing but was able to take a quick tour with my brother who is from Telluride, Colorado. We ended up chatting with the three lovely volunteers for bit! The Moulton Museum is well thought out in use of space and artifacts. The docents were very knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing spot to visit and learn about our local history! We need more of these type of attractions in the 92691/92653/92692. I will be back soon!

What a delightful way to spend a morning! I attended with my two boys on a field trip today. Everything was so well thought out and shared beautifully! The docents were so sweet and knowledgeable. I loved how they had separate stations set up for different learning opportunities …using technology,a hands on with the Morse code, a craft project, and even a special guest came to visit! Thank you for the wonderful lesson in history! We can’t wait to come experience more!

Very cool. Lot of attention to detail, and the actual correspondence and items on display is amazing. The tour includes videos that help tell the story from the letters/correspondence found.

One amazing place to visit. So much rich history is packed in this place. I am such a VR buff, I found the stereoscopic device, with some prints. Just Wow!

This is a hidden gem of South OC! In an odd spot of a strip mall, this is a wealth of info for some of the founders of the area. You can visit for free, but please donate to these folks so they can keep passing the info along in such a rich way as being able to see the artifacts, pictures, letters and experience standing on the last 3 acres still owned by the Moulton family.
